About the home

The ground floor sees a large kitchen with dark red and black stone tiles, pine fitted kitchen, under counter fridge and freezer, washing machine, electric oven and hob, oak and white table with 2 chairs.

The first floor sees living room with 2 windows, sofa, chair, Sky TV, Broadband, lamp and a coffee table, bathroom has small hand basin, WC and walk in open shower, the bedroom is medium size with double bed, oak chest draws and oak slim line wardrobe, store room has shelf unit.

The cottage has electric heaters fitted. There is parking down crossing lane for the diary or parking on Langley Green itself. Please note the property is not suitable for very young children.

The closest town is Chippenham which has a train station, a variety of different high st shops, and many pubs and restaurants. We are about 15 minutes drive from Lacock a National Trust village and Castle Combe race circuit.The river Avon is only 5 minutes down the road if you like a spot of fishing or walking. Historical Bradford-on-Avon, Longleat House and Safari Park, St Thomas Wildlife park, Avebury, and Stonehenge are also within 30 to 40 minutes drive. Local produce is available from many farm shops and Chippenham and Devizes have weekly markets.

There is parking down the side of The Dairy or if you prefer there is secure parking on Langley Green with an electric gate on the front of the property You have use of the rear garden which has wooden table and chairs, a washing line and a BBQ if required. Includes heating, Sky and internet.

Wiltshire has very good weather and beautiful countryside, lots of places to visit such as wildlife parks, rural countryside, Castle Combe race circuit. Check to see if events are on.

Wiltshire has much to offer: there are lively market towns, rolling countryside, and magnificent gardens. There are several attractions, including Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Avebury, etc. Also, the Longleat animal park will make the joy of both adults and children.

The Chippenham / Langley Burrell area

Langley Burrell is a very quiet small village situated 1 mile from Chippenham town. The river Avon is only 1 mile down the road.

Langley Burrell is the village where the famous Victorian Diarist Francis Kivert used to live.

The closest train station is Chippenham which is 2 miles away from the property, Bristol air port is 45 miles away, we are 5 miles away from the m4 jct 17, head towards Sutton Benger, then take right turn at T jct and head towards Kington Langley, carry on 2 miles then turn left for sign post Langley Burrell and we are the very last property on the right hand side.
