The Coach

House has been renovated to a high standard to create a calm and welcoming home

in this stunning county of Wiltshire. This luxuriously spacious holiday home

benefits from a wonderful open plan kitchen/diner and living space, with beautiful

limestone flooring, the luxury of under floor heating and a huge floor to

ceiling glass window which floods the room with light. The room has a cosy

feeling with a lovely wood burning stove and wonderfully large sofa with a

comfy blanket for those chilly nights. There is a Freeview TV and DVD, WIFI and

a bookcase so plenty of entertainment on offer in this holiday home.

This Wiltshire

holiday home has a slate work top kitchen with a traditional Belfast sink with

a large rustic round dining table, ideal for relaxed dining on your UK holiday

break.

The spacious

hallway with grandfather clock has a large wooden bench, the perfect place to

take those wellies off after a day of exploring. There is a small cloakroom

with wc and stone sink and a study with day bed for 1.

The luxurious

bedrooms are found upstairs which is accessed by the impressive stone stairway

flooded with light from the skylight. The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom

is a delight with a super king size bed, sofa area, French windows, Juliette

balcony with views over the garden. There is a luxurious en—suite bathroom with

a large bath, stone hand basin, wc and complimentary bathrobes.

The twin

bedroom is equally as luxurious and has two Victorian single beds, bedside

tables, lamps, dressing table, chair and Juliette balcony with views over the

garden. There is a spacious en-suite wet room with power-shower, stone sink and

wc.

The Central Southern England region

There is

plenty to do on your holiday cottage break near Bath and history and garden

enthusiasts have lots of places to visit around the area – just a 5 minute drive is Bowood House and Gardens, family home to the Marquis and Marchioness of

Lansdowne and was built during the 18th Century. This truly is a great

day out with all the family, with stunning gardens to explore, one of the UK’s

best adventure playgrounds, a Championship golf course, luxury spa, exquisite

restaurant and a house full of history including Dr Priestley’s Laboratory

where oxygen was first discovered. Bowood also boast multiple restaurants and bars so

whether you are looking for high end in the 2 AA Rosette Shelburne

Restaurant, or a more relaxed style in the Brasserie, or simply sumptuous afternoon

tea in the Library, and of course the lighter healthier options in The Spa Bar

Bowood can provide it for you.

The pretty village of Avebury, was the proud host in the 1930’s to the excavations of archaeologist Alexander

Keiller. Keiller who opened the museum to display his findings in 1938 in the old stable

building of Avebury Manor where he lived. This world-famous stone circle and on-site museum

at the heart of a prehistoric landscape and are only a short drive from The

Coach House.

Bath is only 30

minutes drive away, explore everything this city has to offer! Enjoy a relaxing

day at the Bath Thermal Spa which is home to the only natural hot springs in

Britain! Walk around the Roman baths – set in a huge temple the Romans built

over 2,000 years ago! A great day out for the kids, there are Roman costumed

characters everyday to relive the stories of a bygone era.

While in

Bath, visit the Jane Austen Centre- paying homage to Bath’s famous author and

resident herself, Jane Austen! Many of Austen’s books were inspired by the city

and can be found in books such as Northanger

Abbey and Persuasion. Learn more

about Austen’s fascinating life, walk around the exhibits and stop off at the

Regency Tea Room for a spot of cream tea.

No trip to

Bath is complete without visiting the marvellous Royal Crescent, an 18th

Century masterpiece of architecture. Some parts of the building are open to the

public so pop in and have a look.

For those wildlife

fans Longleat Zoo is around a 40 minute drive away and is the UK’s number one

safari and adventure park which is home to the BBC Animal Park and CBBC Roar! With

over 15 fabulous attractions why not enjoy the Monkey Drive Thru, The Gorilla

Colony, Cheetah Kingdom and Safari Drive Adventure amongst many more.

Further

afield head to the mystical relics of Stonehenge, set on a World Heritage Site.

Explore the ruins of this grand structure, built by the Neolithic man – the

mystery surrounding its purpose still remains unknown to this very day.

Located not

too far from the The Coach House is the famous Lacock Abbey which was

featured in the first two Harry Potter films is a quirky country house of various

architectural styles, built upon the foundations of a former nunnery. Visitors

can experience the atmosphere of the medieval rooms and cloister court, giving

a sense of the Abbey's monastic past. The museum celebrates the achievements of

former Lacock resident, William Henry Fox Talbot, famous for his contributions

to the invention of photography.
