About the home

Spiti Anatoli "the sea at your door step", is divided into 3 apartments for 4/6 people each.

The studio for rent has its own entrance and terrace overlooking the sea and the Turkish coast, each as it is is independent .

The place is suitable for families or couples. It is situated right on the sandy beach of Karfas in a quiet place but not isolated (shops, restaurants, tavernas are 300 meters away).

Facilities

The studio is furnished simply and decorated with taste. The washing machine for clothes is on the ground floor, is to be shared with the other guests.

Cleaning and bed linen are provided once a week .

Baby cot can be provided on request.

The beach is not even 10 metres away. There are no road between the house and the beach. We provide long chairs.

Karfas is the most convenient spot to lodge in Chios in order to visit the island because it is in the middle. There is a good bus service to the main town of the island called Chios all the year round.

Chios island is one of the island in Greece which has the most sunny days in the year.

The island is an authentic and unspoilt Greek island, that's make the island interested because you can feel the real Greek activities.

The Chios Island / Karfas Beach area

The island of Chios is protected by mass tourism, that's why the villages stayed as they were 20 or 30 years ago. Because of its situation (between Orient and Occident) and because of its rich historical past, the island offers to the visitors a big variety of sites to explore : the midieval village of the Southern part as Pyrgi and Mesta famous because of the production the natural gum called "mastiha", the Byzantine monastery of Nea Moni, the village of Anavatos built on a rock by pirates, the caves of Olympi, the area of Cambos chosen by the Genovian to built their beautiful stony villas, the black volcanic beach of Emborios...
A car, that we can provide, is recommended (from 180 to 320 euros/week depending on cars and seasons).

- Fly through Athens (6 flights/day) with Aegean airlines or Olympic airways.
-Fly through Thessaloniki (almost every day).
- Two ferries/day from Pireaus (the port of Athens).
- Fly through Turkey (Izmir airport) 80 km from Cesme port where ferries leave to Chios (45 mn).
- 2 ferries a day from Mytilini and 3 ferries a week from Samos.
- Car rental provides by us and free delivery & return at airport (or port).

“Heaven” we were met promptly from airport by the lovely owner,when we arrived they gave us fruit very considerate.location was what really made this holiday .straight out of bed and in the sea then onto deserted beach.then nip next door for breakfast heaven.BLISS.Only 5 minutes to restaurents and a few oozo's .There is nothing we did not like here the family were very lovely to talk to and no problem to ask them if we needed anything.Hopefully going back next year
