Home description
Castel du Plessis Gerbault is in a very picturesque site located slope side of the left bank of the river Vienne. It faces the old fortress of Chinon. It overlooks a hamlet consisting in part of the chapel seignorial in a vineyard at 2km from Chinon.
Chinon is a lovely medieval town where you can find all shops : food stores, decoration shops, clothing and also excellent restaurants. A market is held in the city every Sunday and Thursday morning.
You enter the Castel at ground floor, in a large lounge/dining room, in the centre of which is a monumental carved fireplace. The lounge is furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchairs. Two great buffets are in the dining room as well as the TV and the HIFI system.
There is a barbecue and a garden furniture outside on the lawn by the pool.
