Lovely refurbished 15th century house right in the heart of Chinon, a 15th century town situated amongst Touraine vineyards next to the river “Vienne” in the region of LOIRE VALLEY.

it accommodates 2 to 4 people and offers the warmth of wooden beams and an ancient fireplace. Comfortable, well-equipped and nicely decorated with two bedrooms, shower, kitchen and lounge looking out onto a small blossomed courtyard.

All facilities nearby, swimming pool, tennis court, boutiques, restaurants. Sightseeing : historical town of Chinon and the fortress of Charles VII.

The Loire Valley / Indre-et-Loire region

Located in the heart of the Val de Loire area and of the Regional Natural Park Loire - Anjou - Touraine, the Chinon area lies between two rivers, the royal Loire and the majestic Vienne.

“A wonderful apartment - ideal location, beautifully appointed, lovely host” Chinon is an idyllic location. Well located to see the Loire chateau and sights. Chinon is a fabulous small town with all the services one needs on holiday. The impressive castle, the fairytale buildings and pedestrian streets - all set on the banks of the Loire. I would definitely recommend the apartment. It has a lovely courtyard for evening drinks or breakfast. Lovely comfortable facilities just a stones throw from the town square. Good secure car parking only two minutes walk away.

“Comfortable apartment in historic town centre” The apartment was very central and well equipped. There is a lovely courtyard and two double bedrooms. The sofa also converts to a double bed, although I think with 6 adults the flat would feel rather crowded. Entry is up a flight of stairs, there are separate locks on the lobby and the flat itself. The only difficulty with the let was the free car park space. Entry into the car park is very tight, we have a small car (Nissan Note) & found it very difficult. We only did it once, we discovered a free car park by the river about 10 minutes walk away and used that instead. Chinon is a beautiful town with good restaurants and food market & it's a good base for exploring the Loire valley.
