London city - a mere 20 mins. By train - needs no introduction.
The Tower of London, St.Paul's Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, the myriads of lanes and walkways leading to Dickensian haunts and hideaways. Covent garden, The Opera House and much much more.

East London / Chigwell area
Chingford has a thriving cosmopolian community with amazing architecture to the properties. There are numerous restaurants offering cuisine from all corners of the world. It is a busy and friendly town with local links to London and beyond.
Chingwell is smaller than Chingford and has a villagey atmosphere. The 15th century Kings Head public house is central to the village and has been visited by celebrities over the centuries. The village green hosts markets and fayres and there are pubs and restaurants.

Just to sit in the conservatory and look onto the pretty garden with an abundance of birds, is a delight in itself. Both in winter and summer, this cottage is perfect.
