We offer a friendly welcome into our warm and cosy cabin along with a spa (jacuzzi and sauna). The Cabin is set in a lovely private orchard nestled in a quaint Dorset coastal village on a quiet and historic lane (no caravans etc. nearby.) The orchard belongs to an old cottage, whose owners have ties with the village for over 2 centuries. We are dedicated to providing you with a different, enjoyable and relaxing stay, where you can soak up the seaside and beautiful Dorset views. We have 3 good pubs in walking distance with good food too.

Lie in the Orchard under the trees, have a Barbeque, visit the Beach and the fine local pubs tasting great local food and ale, you will find 3 within walking distance. Explore the Majestic Cliffs of the Jurassic coast you may even encounter a fossil if you're lucky. Discover BRIDPORT known as “foodie heaven” tasting lots of local cuisine, visit picturesque Lyme Regis and enjoy getting blown off the famous cob. Excellent opportunities for outdoor sports with ample walking, running and cycling trails.

Enjoy use of our ON Site SPA, with exclusive use of an indoor spa and sauna. Relax in the jacuzzi and Infra Red sauna after a long day exploring the local area. The sauna provides the same effects as exercise as the heart receives a workout similar to a 20-30 minute session and the body perspires the same amount as a 6 mile run. IR saunas are perfect for those who do not have time for regular exercise or suffer from injuries that inhibit for rigorous activity The Jacuzzi's hydrothermal therapy used to tone up the body, for circulation, and the immune system, and to bring relief from pain. Water seems to have special powers in getting rid of stress and rejuvenating our body.

Now we include free TASSIMO luxury Coffee in a range of flavours, various Teas, and of course, daily Sauna and Hot Tub sessions. Also for 2014 we have added a comfy sofa bed in the living room, so we can now accomodate 3 persons!

The Dorset region

The famous Jurassic Coast of Dorset has been awarded World Heritage Site status. The Dorset and East Devon coastline where countless fossils have been found is a remarkable place. The coast includes the highest point on the south coast right here at Seatown of Golden Cap and the historic nearby resort of Lyme Regis,

If you like food we are situated in a Foodie heaven, and Bridport will hopefully ring a bell… it is home to the original River Cottage where Hugh started his quest of local, home grown and foraged stuff. Love food, love West Dorset! You'll find fantastic produce grown in the area and that chefs did not wait for celebrities to tell them to cook local. Take the Riverside (www.thefishrestaurant-westbay.co.uk ; two-course meal from £16.50) in West Bay, Bridport's harbour. Bang in the middle of this unpretentious fishing harbour, it looks like a large wooden hut sitting on the river Brit. Fish is the speciality, of course, straight from Lyme Bay.

Also the West Bay Pub for great food, it's run by our neighbour Paul. Another good place to enjoy fresh seafood is the Hive Beach Café in Burton Bradstock.- fantastic. These guys are committed to local. There's something tasty for all purses. In Beaminster you can visit Matt Follas' restaurant Wild Garlic which is an exceptional place for locals to enjoy Dorset and UK specialties e.g. Cornish sparkling wines.

Chideock

We offer the following things of note In a private place with beautiful Dorset views including:

Tranquil private location in the trees, not overlooked, Orchard and Hill views, Wildflower meadows.

Castle Ruins at top of the lane, well behaved Dog Friendly. We have of course a off lane Parking Space for you.

Footpaths and Cycling Running Routes mapped and on the doorstep. Mountain Bikes for free loan- returnable deposit required.. SW coastal path nearby. Foodie Heaven - we can make you bookings at the best local restaurants and eateries and tell you about local food fares etc..

Breakfast and Evening Meals can be taken in the cabin, free tea coffee and soft drinks - even a Wine Tasting if you like...see www.wills-burgundy.com

Thanks for staying with us, and I am sorry your sleep was disturbed by the wind chimes and branches. It was a bit windy in the orchard during your stay.
Referring to the size of cabin I have updated the website with the size now, so there is no doubt. The cabin is around 27 Sq M. We recently stayed at the Mariott hotel, a 4* recently, in Liverpool and the room size there was 14 sq M. I will get on and trim the branches near the roof this weekend, apologies. Warm Regards Will and Tanya
