We provide quality accommodation in a very friendly household during the whole year round.
We are located in a peaceful, semi-rural area near Pinar de los Franceses only 15 min from the amazing La Barossa beach. You can benefit here from quiet rural surroundings, amazing weather and all amenities of a private villa while renting only the accommodation for a couple.
Casa Feliz is a beautifully presented and well equipped cottage. It is set within its own garden area apart from the owners' residence. It comprises: spacious lounge-diner and well equipped open plan kitchen, generous bathroom with walk-in shower and twin bedroom. In the lounge there is single sofa-bed. The bedroom has fitted in an air con unit which heats as well as cools. All towels (including beach towels) and bed linen are included. The lounge has a modern flat screen TV with English and Spanish channels, DVD player, books and iPod docking station. There is a private patio/terrace next to the cottage with BBQ. Wi-Fi is available and free of charge for our guests. Guests staying at this property have use of the swimming pool and relaxing area with sun loungers and small dining table.
Location is a big advantage - whilst it enjoys beautiful countryside, you are also close to the town, beach and other tourist attractions. A car is recommended but we can arrange the pickup service from the local airports. Then you might be able to rent motorbikes in town or we have 2 bicycles available for letting.

The Costa de la Luz region
The 'Costa de la Luz' is just discovered as one of southern Spain's finest cultural & tourist destinations. It was always popular destination for Spanish tourists but now it is getting more and more popular for others. It is the western part of the Andalucía coastline that faces out to the Atlantic. The sand is finer and a more golden colour here than the neighbouring Costa del Sol.
The Costa de la Luz has a rich history that dates back to the twelfth century BCE, rich cultural heritage and amazing landscape including some of national parks.
The Bahía de Cádiz is a complex of Natural Parks and an important Ramsar site, and one of the best examples of Atlantic tidal marshes in the Iberian Peninsula. The position of the site between Doñana and the Gibraltar Straights help to make the bay one of the most important coastal wetlands in southern Europe.
The area also has the perfect climate with temperatures averaging 20 degrees centigrade most of the year and with more than 3000 hours of sunshine.
Casa Feliz is an excellent base for touring, with Cádiz, Jerez de la Frontera, Seville, Gibraltar, Cape Trafalgar, Bolonia, Caños de Meca and many White Villages all within a drive away..
Chiclana city centre is only 5 minutes away from Casa Feliz. It is an agricultural and traditional town of Low Andalusia. Its urban structure is of a typical Andalusian style, with narrow streets and courtyards full of flowers. The population of Chiclana is 82 000 (in 2012). Chiclana was successively colonized by the Phoenicians, the Greeks and the Romans and was located in the upper Middle Ages on the border (in Spanish, "frontera"), between the Muslim and Christian states.
The centre of Chiclana is located around the town hall square and the covered market which is bustling and lively every day. The market has an array of fruit and vegetables, fish and meat stalls. On Tuesday's mornings there is also a large outdoor market located by the blue bridge across the river.
In Chiclana you will find preserved customs and traditions of Andalusia like the processions, bullfighting, flamenco, wine production, snacks at noon and many more. The best time to experience them are ferias and fiestas. If you are in town around 13th June – feria is a must! You will see there flamenco dresses and caballero hats, going from stall to stall you will hear flamenco singing and typical of Andalucia canto-style lament.
Other important dates in Chiclana are: February – March – carnival; March – April – Holly Week; June – Feria and Festival of San Antonio; Night of 23 June – San Juan Bonfire Night; July 16 – the fisherman's procession between Sancti Petri and Barossa; 26 July – fiesta of Santa Ana; 8 September – Festival of Chiclana's Patron Saint the Virgen de los Remedios; When you visit us you will be able to enjoy all of them!
