The South East England / Sussex region
East Sussex is an incredibly diverse and exciting county in the South East of England , you will find rolling chalk downs and wooded hills as well as un spoilt open countryside and the cliffs and its famous coastline. Crammed with history and widely recognized as the birthplace of England itself - 1066 Hastings country where you can tread in the footsteps of William the Conqueror. There is a host of architectural treasures which have been lovingly preserved in their original Tudor or Georgian and regency form. There are ancient cottages and elegant town squares and quaint little villages with their original character maintained throughout the years.
The Chichester / West Wittering area
6 Miles North of Chichester with its famous cathedral and its good selection of shops to suit all tastes our property is ideally located. The city is protected by Roman walls (now a pedestrian walkway giving fantastic views of the beautiful city). The city is famed also for its arts and the Festival Theatre remains a choice attraction to visit along with the Pallant House Art Gallery. Each year you will find a fine selection of music and arts festivals in the city normally arround the cathederal. There is also a national trust reserve and the most picturesque of all the beaches in West Sussex with its award winning coastline of the Witterings. There you will find many swimming and water sports opportunities. There is Golf nearby at Goodwood and some truly exceptional walking, riding and biking trails in the South Downs.
