Modern and beautifully furnished holiday lodge with lake views. Located next to the to historic city of Chichester, and near The Witterings and the South Downs. Cygnet Lodge has a large west and south facing sunny deck complete with furniture.

Set in a quiet corner of Lakeside Holiday Park, Cygnets is an ideal place to relax and enjoy your holiday or weekend away. Very comfortably furnished and fully equipped, it really is a home from home.
The sunny deck has plenty of space for all the family with lovely views of the lake.

For larger groups, The Cygnets can also be rented in conjunction with Swansdown Lodge which is directly opposite.

The South East England / Sussex region

Whether its countryside, beaches, shopping or theatre, West Sussex has it all.

Here you are ideally placed to visit stately homes, such as Petworth House or Arundle Castle, watch the polo at Cowdray Park or have a flutter at either Fontwell or Goodwood Racecourses.

The South Downs provide a beautiful backdrop to pretty villages with friendly pubs, offering tasty local produce.
Or if its the bright lights you crave, Brighton provides everything you could want. It has often been called, 'London by the Sea'.

Portsmouth in neighbouring Hampshire is the place to catch either a ferry or hovercraft over to the Isle of Wight. Or go exploring in the Historic Naval Dockyard, where you will find the Mary Rose or Nelson's HMS Victory.
West Sussex, is central Southern England. Go either East or West and you are sure to find plenty to do.

Chichester area

Chichester is a historic city, dating back to the Romans, their walls are still there! Nearby, at Fishbourne the amazing remains of a prominent Roman Villa are open to the public, the visitor centre is a must for families, kids love it!

There are so many things to do in and around the area. Shopping is in Chichester's historic town centre, which is full of individual shops and restaurants, as well as the usual High Street stores.

Horse racing, golf and motor sport is on offer at Goodwood, just 5 minutes drive up the A27.

Chichester is also home to the Festival Theatre where many high profile productions are offered throughout the year.

And just minutes away from Lakeside Holiday Park there is the lovely local pub and restaurant, The Walnut Tree.

If its beaches you are after, the nearest is 5 miles away at Bognor Regis. (the sunniest place in England!)
Surfing is found on the beaches at the Witterings 8 miles away.

You really are spoilt for choice for activities and days out.

How to get there

Cygnets is very conveniently located just off the A27, south of Chichester in West Sussex.
Chichester town centre itself is just half an hours walk from the park.

The lodge is also an ideal place to stay if you are attending the many events at nearby Goodwood.

Arundel Castle and Cathedral is 18km to the East

Brighton is 50km East along the A27.

Portsmouth is 29km West where you can catch a hovercraft or Ferry to the Isle of Wight. or even France!

A spacious well equipped holiday home is waiting for you at Cygnets. There is a large hallway with doors to a shower room and bedrooms.
The living space is open plan with a seating area, dining and kitchen.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to whip up a culinary delight for your friends and family or why not eat alfresco on the wraparound deck.
All three bedrooms are of a good size with fitted wardrobes. The beds are made up ready for you using crisp cotton linens. We even provide fluffy towels for when you step out of the shower or bath.

A welcome pack of bread, butter and milk will be waiting for you and we also provide tea, coffee, sugar and toilet roll, kitchen roll

Cygnets is one row from Ivy Lake but still has views of the lake from the deck.

FISHING
Lakeside Holiday Park has five lakes you can fish from, it's one of Sussex's premier locations for course angling with over 150 acres of lakes and country park. It is ideal for leisurely walks and has achieved a conservation award in 2006. The other great facilities including heated pools, the Lakeside Entertainment Centre, Lakeside Family Bar, the Kingfisher Bar and the Kingfisher cafe.

Payment can be made by Credit/Debit card. 30% Deposit is required on booking. The remaining 70% to be paid no later than 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.
Cheque or Bank Transfer. A refundable £200 booking/security deposit is required on booking. Full payment is due no later than 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Strictly no smoking.

The property is in a quiet area and not suitable for late night parties, loud music or boisterous behavour.

We do welcome well behaved owners with their quiet dogs.
