A warm comfortable fully renovated self contained bungalow, situated in the village of Selsey, On the south coast of West Sussex. The nearby historic cities of Chichester, Portsmouth and Brighton are within easy reach. Local amenities nearby, include shops, restaurants and pubs. Just 250 yards away is the fishing beach where local caught seafood may be purchased. Sea fishing trips on our 33ft Licensed charter boat may booked at a discounted rate by contacting the owner. Pleasure trips and evening seafood cruises around picturesque Chichester harbour are also available during high summer. Close to Chichester and Goodwood race course and Motor circuit Famous for its Festival of Speed and revival.

Merryfield is situated in a quiet residential area, and enjoys a prime location for exploring the many attractions in the area.

Good days out are never far away, Must sees are the Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth and HMS Victory, Nelsons Flag ship at the battle of Trafalgar. At nearby Goodwood house, The Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival meeting are not to be missed. But early booking is essential.

"Great location and friendly service with a smile."
Stayed here for 5 nights in early April. Weather was sublime. Mr Mc Laughlin met me at the cottage and even supplied a new DAB radio. Rates were reasonabe (ring direct for best rates). Very clean, nic… More

"Terrific place and location"
Lovely place in Selsey. Well equiped and not far from the centre. Owner was very polite and helpful and popped by to ensure all was wel during our stay.
Perfect if you are looking for a base to fish from as it's only a small distance from East beach.
Will be back for sure at some point soon either with friends or the family.

"Would choose again in a heartbeat!!!"
Coming from the US, it's always a bit of a concern when booking a holiday cottage based solely on photos from a website. My email communications with Sam and Mac, the owners of this property, solidified my decision to stay here. The property was tidy, charming, homey and simply had everything we needed. The owners cared about our stay and were simply lovely people to deal with. The back garden had both a beautiful glass conservatory as well as a comfortable table and chairs and BBQ. The location was in walking distance to the sea yet the neighborhood was quiet and serene. It made for a truly magical holiday and I would recommend whole heartedly to anyone looking for a rental in Selsey.

this is a beautiful bungalow that's extremely well equipped. Very friendly owners who let you enjoy your holiday and it really did feel like home! When we got home, my 3 year old said "It's so sad to be home, I loved our holiday home"! She was right - you do need a car to enjoy this area, but well worth a visit and we already want to go back!

"Good value kitchen limited"
Owner actually very pleasant. Only downside to otherwise great bungalow is small kitchen,lack of cooking pots and dishwasher fix the latter two and we would be regulars
