This new stylish self catering lodge is the perfect place for those wanting somewhere peaceful and picturesque. Historic Chichester is only 5 minutes away by car and excellent sports and spa facilities are in walking distance, as is the famous Goodwood House . The Goodwood Park "Pay & Play" Golf course is now open to non-members and is walkable from the Lodge.
The property is of oak construction both internally and externally. The total floor area is 270 sq ft comprising open plan living/kitchen area and bedroom en-suite. Both rooms have full-length patio doors opening onto south facing patio. The Lodge offers the luxury of a large corner leather sofa, underfloor heating and an illuminated bathroom mirror that never steams up! All fixtures and fittings are of the highest quality.
Goodwood Hotel , Golf & Leisure Club is a few minutes stroll from the property down a one-way country lane. (Restaurants open to non-members or non- hotel guests & we can offer guest entrance to use the swimming pool, tennis courts, gym & spa facilities). The Kennels (for more golf, racing, or flying members is less than 3 mins drive away).
Some basic provisions will include tea, coffee,marmalde ,bread/croissants , milk and biscuits/chocolates. All linen, towels and guest toiletries are provided.

South coast of England enjoys a relatively mild winter climate.
Goodwood Oak Lodge is an ideal base for a short break and there are many nearby attractions waiting to be explored.
To travel further afield, London is 60 miles away , Brighton 30 miles and historic Porsmouth less than 15 miles. From Portsmouth it is a short ferry ride over to the Isle of Wight.
The Chichester / Goodwood area
Goodwood House -open to the public (check times) and is a delightful 20 minute walk from Oak Lodge. Goodwood is also renowned for its horse racing with many meetings throughout the year, the famous Festival of Speed, The Revival and beautiful Sculpture Park.
West Wittering Beach- noted as one of the 10 best beach locations in the Country with something for everyone. Peaceful & secluded sand dunes on East Head or surf & waves further along the beautiful stretch of sandy beach.
Picteresque Arundel town & castle is only 5 miles away
Chichester Cathedral - must be one of England's most beautiful cathedral, situated in the heart of a historic and charming City. Chichester can boast some of the best shops, cafes and restaurants to be found in the South.
Chichester Theatre - continues to attract many famous actors and playwrights and the ssummer festivities must surely be unrivalled and Oak Lodge and North Walls cottage have been the temporary home to several actors and directors over the last year.
Arundel Castle - a 10 minute car journey or train ride takes you to the charming town of Arundel, situated on the river Arun. This a is a day's visit not to be missed!
