There are 2 pubs, 3 cafes and a formal restaurant , a local farm shop and post office and craft centre all within walking distance of the property.The sailing club is 4 minutes walk away as is the beautiful Saxon Church and Church meadow.

The accommodation is fitted with high quality facilities and a modern décor. Two single beds can be provided rather than a double on request. A private courtyard offers the opportunity to enjoy a barbecue or quiet laze in the sun. . A newly fitted bathroom with a power shower is modern and simple. You are a few yards from the waterfront in Old bosham and the bay window in the open plan living/ sitting room affords you a good view of the village and craft centre. A large wall mounted TV, DVD and iPod docking station bring the property right up to date. Strictly no smoking.

A private courtyard at the back of the property offers a quiet sitting area in which to relax or have a barbecue. Yards from the apartment is a small local craft centre . . The focus of Old Bosham is the Quay and Quay meadow were you can sit and enjoy the fantastic views and coastal bird life of the estuary.The Saxon Church over looks the meadow and the thriving sailing club. High quality pub food is available at both The Anchor Bleu and The Berkeley Arms with more formal dining available at The Millstream Hotel.There is an Italian style delicattesen and cafe a stone's throw away.

Old Bosham is an estuary village in the centre of the popular historic harbour of Chichester with its ancient church and sailing club. The property is within a hundred metres of the harbour estuary. Chichester itself has all facilities, excellent pubs ,the world famous Chichester Festival Theatre, a lively farmer's market and large range of shops. Pallant House Art Gallery and the Cathedral itself are highlights.
Sailing events are held in Bosham and further afield throughout Chichester Harbour.The harbour is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is home to a huge range of wild birds.. Goodwood and Fontwell race courses are a short drive away. The historic port towns of Portsmouth and Southampton are within driving distance..Wider exploration of the South Downs is literally on your doorstep. Old Bosham itself is the most beautiful of villages. It is a gateway to other small coastal sailing villages like Itchenor .Take the ferry across from Smugglars lane ( bicycles allowed) and enjoy seeing the sailing craft on the water.
Dell Quay is a favourite place to stop off for a drink and watch the world go by. The fabulous beach at West
Wittering is well managed and clean with safe bathing areas. The walk along the sands at evening time is breathtaking.
The Chichester / Bosham area
The region is famous for its coastal resorts, and the fantastic beach of West Wittering is a mile from Old Bosham itself. Goodwood Racing and historic Arundal Castle is also close by. Chichester has a great selection of restaurants and shops from high street brands to a range of excellent boutiques.
The Chichester Festival Theatre is renowned world wide and each year produces a wide spectrum of cultural/musical events. The famous Festival of Speed and Goodwood revival are 2 key points in the areas social calender as is the Goodwood festival for horse racing and excellent racing held at Fontwell during the summer.
