All the luxury of a boutique hotel.
All the privacy of your own apartment.
The team behind Richmond House Bed & Breakfast are delighted to introduce 'Boutique Suites' – a new accommodation concept for Chichester. Boutique Suites offer more space, more facilities, more flexibility and more freedom than a B&B or hotel room, and more luxury touches, products and provisions than traditional self catering accommodation.
Boutique suites are located in a beautifully converted Victorian house, situated to the east of Chichester city centre, just half a mile from the cathedral door. We're also perfectly placed for the glorious Goodwood Races, Goodwood Revival and the Festival of Speed, being within a five minute drive of the motor circuit and only ten minutes from the racecourse. Chichester is a fantastic base from which to explore the amazing countryside just to the north, and miles of beaches just to the south of the city. So whether it's theatre, art, architecture, nature or fabulous boutique shopping that you're after, the Chichester District has it all!
All of our suites have been carefully designed, and finished to an excellent standard. We've filled each suite with the luxury touches you'd expect from a quality hotel room - fabulously comfortable pocket sprung mattresses, luxuriously crisp cotton linen, soft cotton towels, fresh flowers, under floor heating, hairdryers, minimum 26" Sony TVs with freeview and Now TV (including Sky Movies package) and DVD players. You'll also benefit from free Wi-fi internet access throughout your stay. Our fully equipped kitchens have been stocked with high quality cookware and utensils, so there's everything you'll need to enjoy cooking and dining in your suite.
Each apartment has its own bedroom, bathroom, living and cooking area, and we provide everything you'll need for a light breakfast in your suite, as well as a range of oils, condiments, herbs and spices so you don't have to worry about carrying them with you. We also provide shower and hair products, toilet rolls and cleaning products. We provide a complimentary weekly housekeeping service for longer stays, where we will clean your accommodation, change all of your bedlinen and towels and restock your larder. You'll find full details of all of our suites, and all that's provided on the Boutique Suites website: www.boutiquesuites.co.uk
If you're looking for beautifully styled, comfortable and well equipped self catering accommodation within walking distance of Chichester city centre, you've found it in Boutique Suites.
And if you're considering a change to hotel or B&B's, 'Boutique Suites' offer all the comfort and luxury touches you'd expect of a carefully designed hotel room, with extra space, extra facilities, and the freedom to set your own timetable. To help you get the best of both worlds, we also offer a daily 'Luxury Service' package, which you can choose for as many days as you require during your stay.

The South East England region
Chichester's not just a cathedral, a theatre and an art gallery. OK, so the city is magnificent, and the skyline is dominated by a fabulous cathedral spire. Admittedly the Chichester Festival Theatre has been described as "a regional powerhouse" , and the Pallant Art Gallery is considered to be " superbly curated", but Chichester's not just art, culture, and medieval architecture.
The district of Chichester actually covers an area of about 300 square miles of West Sussex. This includes nine miles of coastline - stretching from the rugged sandy beaches of the Witterings, through the popular seaside town of Selsey, taking in the stunning waterways of Pagham Nature reserve, Chichester Harbour and the peace and quiet of Chichester canal. Then there's the magnificent countryside that begins just to the north of the city, drawing in Goodwood and the gorgeous country villages around Charlton, Lavant and Funtington , extending up as far as the rural towns Midhurst and Petworth, right in the heart of the South Downs National Park.
Because of its diversity, a visit to the Chichester district offers you so much choice. But what you actually choose to see and do is entirely up to you! And remember: in Chichester, no one will hate you for walking slowly.
...a magnificent city
Whilst small and easily walkable, the historic city is packed with boutique, independent and high street shops; an extensive choice of cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs; and a wealth of artistic, creative and cultural activities.
...stunning coastlines and wonderful waterways
A few miles south of the City lies the Witterings, enjoying a long, sand & pebble unspoilt coastline from the blue flag West Wittering Beach to Bracklesham Bay, together with the extensive, natural sheltered area of Chichester Harbour. Close by is the livelier beach resort of Selsey, famous for its shellfish, and the peaceful nature reserve at Pagham Habour. For a change of pace, the harbour villages of Bosham and Emsworth offer tranquil havens from the bustle of daily life.
... outstandingly beautiful countryside Several miles north of the City enjoy the South Downs National Park & the towns of Midhurst & Petworth. There are miles of fantastic walks in and around the area, from the natural phenomena of Kingley Vale, to the beautifully managed West Dean Gardens, and acres of woodland to explore at Eartham Woods and Stanstead Park.

Thank you so much for taking the time and going to the trouble of writing a review of your stay in The Garden Suite. We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay - especially as you were one of our very first guests at Boutique Suites!
I'm sorry the weather meant that you couldn't enjoy the patio garden fully......things are a little different now, and guests are using the parasol as a sun shade, rather than an umbrella!
We do hope that you will return to Chichester in the future, and look forward to welcoming you back to Boutique Suites, where there will be an additional suite to choose between in September!
With thanks, and our very best wishes, Heather and Bryan Allen
