Flintstone Cottages are a collection of 4 newly converted light, airy and modern self-contained holiday let apartments based only 2 miles from Chichester and 5 miles from Goodwood House. These apartments have been converted to a very high standard from the out buildings of the Victorian Flint knapped Sussex Farmhouse.
The 4 apartments combined offer beds to sleep a total of 16 people (8 couples)
In addition, each unit provides a King-size sofa bed so naturally this can be ideal for an additional couple or children and therefore utilising these, sleeping accommodation could be provided for a maximum of 24 guests.
Flintstone cottages would be ideal location for a large family group wishing to meet up (whilst still retaining an element of independence) or alternatively, booked as a convenient rural base for an individual or couple to have a quiet get away.
Open Barn style parking is available adjacent to the apartments and the apartments are very secure and private being half a mile down a remote farm track towards the Railway; yet very close to Chichester and the surrounding amenities and attractions.

The Barn 2 bed
The Barn is the most characteristic of our self-catering apartments. Occupying the west end of the Farmhouse this delightful accommodation has been converted from the old barn.
On the ground floor there is King-size bedroom, luxury bathroom with shower and bath and an open plan vaulted living/ kitchen area.
The Barn features a well-equipped modern kitchen, wall mounted TV, Free Sat, Large Sofa with integrated King-size sofa bed, wood-burning stove and The Diana Dors* stained Glass Window. A galleried mezzanine floor contains a Double bed.
A set of glazed patio doors lead out to a small garden with decking area for outside eating.

Chichester is a beautiful cathedral city in West Sussex, within the historic County of Sussex, South-East England. It has a long history as a settlement; its Roman past and its subsequent importance in Anglo-Saxon times are only its beginnings. It is the seat of a bishopric, with a 12th-century cathedral, and is home to some of the oldest churches and buildings in Great Britain.
Chichester today is a local government stronghold, with three levels of government being administered there. It is the centre for culture in the region, with a Festival theatre and two art galleries. Nearby Chichester Harbour, together with the South Downs and the city walls, provide wonderful opportunities for outdoor pursuits.

Today Arundel is a popular tourist destination famous for its Arundel Castle, Arundel Farmers Market, Arundel Parish Church, Arundel Cathedral, Blackfriars Historic buildings. The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum is an open air museum in Singleton just outside Chichester. The museum covers 50 acres (20 ha), with nearly 50 historic buildings dating from the thirteenth to nineteenth centuries, along with gardens, farm animals, walks and a lake.
The buildings at the museum were all threatened with destruction. They were carefully dismantled, conserved and rebuilt to their original form at the museum. These buildings help the museum bring to life the homes, farmsteads and rural industries of the last seven hundred years. Many buildings situated there are over four hundred years old, and still stand strong. Along with the buildings, there are "hands on" activities, like cooking, and weaving and a number of yearly activities, including glass painting, and bonfire nights.

Fishbourne Roman Palace was built in the 1st century AD, around thirty years after the Roman conquest of Britain on the site of a Roman army supply base established at the Claudian invasion in 43 AD. The rectangular palace surrounded formal gardens, the northern half of which have been reconstructed.
A modern museum has been built by the Sussex Archaeological Society, incorporating most of the visible remains including one wing of the palace. The gardens have been re-planted using authentic plants from the Roman period.
