This delightful seafront terraced house offers guests well furnished, comfortable accommodation with wonderful views of the coast and sunsets over the Solent and the Isle of Wight. The paved garden has a bench for al-fresco dining. Beyond this garden is an area of shingle and natural flora and a bench - an excellent vantage point with the sea only 15 meters away for watching the waves and passing boats. Access onto a quiet, secluded tidal beach is available at the bottom of the garden although this is subject to the beach state which is a function of the weather. This peaceful and relaxing location is the ideal holiday setting for couples and families. Guests have commented "Where else can you find the sea breaking against the garden wall"; "a home from home";"Wonderful sea views -fantastic sea in all its glory".
There are two double bedrooms, and one has access to a balcony with great uninterrupted views of the sea and Isle of Wight. One bedroom has a double bed and the other is twin bedded. There is a third small bedroom which has bunk beds .The upstairs bathroom has a bath and hand held shower. Downstairs the lounge/diner leads into the sun room and onto a paved rear garden.
The beautiful surrounding area is best explored by walking - highlights include the South Downs National Park and the beautiful natural setting of Pagham and Chichester Harbours. Avid golfers can also enjoy a round of golf at courses such as Goodwood, Chichester and Selsey and in addition to its own beach the propery is within 20 minutes of one of Britain's top beaches at West Wittering.

The South East England region
The surrounding area has plenty of entertainment including Chichester with its beautiful cathedral, pedestrianised shopping centre and its popular theatre, which is perfect for catching the latest show before it transfers to the West End. Other attractions include Chichester Harbour and its villages including Bosham and Itchenor (with its harbour tours), numerous historic sites including Arundel Castle, Cowdray Park (also renowned for polo), Goodwood House, Tangmere Aviation Museum and Fishborne Roman Palace. Portsmouth with its ferries to the Isle of Wight and historic dockyard is only 40 minutes by car. There are also some excellent diving opportunities with Mulberry Divers in Selsey; horse racing at Goodwood and Fontwell Park and bird watching on the coast and at the nearby RSPB Reserves at Bracklesham Bay and Pagham Harbour.
Selsey village has a good selection of pubs and restaurants including Tapas Bars, Chinese and Curry houses.There is an indoor pool, gym and sauna at West Sands Caravan Park, Selsey (1.5 miles). There is a large Budgens supermarket (with free parking) and a smaller Co-op store in Selsey Village (a 10 to 15 minute walk or short drive away). There is also a good selection of smaller shops including Boots and excellent butchers and bakers. Very large Sainsburys, Tesco and Waitrose stores can be found off the A27 near Chichester (20 minutes drive).

"This house should be put on prescription, NHS costs would be slashed."
Reluctant to write a review that might encourage people to go to this lovely holiday house and then find there would be no times left for us but I have to admit to what a great place it is for a truly restful holiday. There are loads of places to go and visit, lots to see and do in the surrounding area or you can leave the car parked in the off road parking space provided and walk. For us the momentous decision of the day was whether to turn right or left on leaving the house as both directions are always interesting with always something to see or catch your attention. The recent Medmerry coastal realignment scheme is fascinating and birds are already using it. For those of a less active inclination the sun room provides an ideal place to read the newspaper even in the winter when a little sun is enough to warm the room up, while the balcony can be enjoyed without even the benefit of the paper. Download an app and the world passes by in front of you as you can identify the ships, where they are registered their cargo etc. etc. Great to go to bed and see lights out to sea or wake to the sight of the waves as no need to close the curtains. Comfortable bed, comfortable chairs, always clean the main downside is having to return home.

"Fantastic location! Great family holiday!"
I have not written a review before but felt I must highlight Seascape Selsey, what a fabulous location and views out to sea. We enjoyed a week there over October 2013 half term with our four children (age 4-9), they said it was "their best family holiday ever!" A perfect home from home, very clean and tidy, WiFi TV etc. Ideal for a relaxed family holiday enjoying the views with trips out and about. Town has good facilities and Chichester/Portsmouth are a short trip away.
