The Dairy is a very well presented and well equipped studio cottage set on the edge of the South Downs National Park and close to the historic city of Chichester. As part of Abelands Barn, the studio sits next to The Cowstall and the 2 cottages can be rented together, making a combined 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom cottage with an open plan living area in The Cowstall.

The Dairy has a good sized living space that offers a sitting area, dining area, kitchenette and a large double zip-bed, which can be split into 2 single beds, if required. There is a flat screen TV with DVD player and wi-fi internet access is available. The studio has a separate bathroom that has both a bath and a shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.

The well designed kitchenette is hidden away in a cupboard and so does not intrude on the studio at all. It has a 2 ring electric hob, microwave oven, fridge with freezer box and a sink with drainer. There are wooden boards provided to act as a work surface area for preparing meals. The kitchenette is well equipped and ideal for the studio arrangement.

The West Sussex region

This area enjoys some of the best levels of sunshine in Southern England. It also boasts numerous historical places of interest, such as the Roman Palace at Fishhbourne, the Weald & Downland Open Air Musueum. Goodwood House and Stansted Park are also fascinating places to visit, as is Arundel Castle. Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth has some of the best panoramic views in the south. The area is steeped in history and is the perfect holiday destination for all types of holiday makers.

Chichester

Set in a great location for getting out and around the surrounding area, The Dairy is ideal whether you are planning to visit the seaside, explore the countryside or see some of the many sites in the local towns and villages. The historic city of Chichester is just a few miles up the road and offers a wealth of shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as the medieval cathedral and world famous Festival Theatre. Less than 5 miles in the other direction is the traditional English seaside town of Bognor Regis, with a seafront promenade and historic pier.

A little further afield, the South Downs National Park lies to the north and has some of the most beautiful scenery in the south of England. The area is a walker's paradise and includes the South Downs Way, which runs all the way from Winchester to Eastbourne. Local sporting events include horse racing at both Goodwood and Fontwell, as well as motor racing events, such as the world famous 'Goodwood Festival of Speed' and 'Goodwood Revival'. There are also a selection of golf courses in the local area. The cities of Brighton to the east and Portsmouth to the west are easily accessible by either road or rail and London is less than 2 hours away, again either by road or rail.
