Bosham appeals to artists, walkers, sailing folk or anyone looking for a bit of peace & quiet. The village has it's own pub, sailing club, pretty historical church and the best sunsets. The Blue Room is tucked away in a pretty garden but only a few metres from the harbour. Fantastic for good walks and handy location for exploring the local area where there is much to see and do.

The Blue Room faces onto a paved area leading onto a pretty country garden, sheltered and quiet.. and dog-safe.
It's not big enough for children but guests with a baby and your own travel cot are welcome
Linen and towells are provided but please bring your own beach towells

The region is popular for its access to coastal resorts and the South Downs. There is the fantastic beach of West Wittering, a mile from Old Bosham itself. Goodwood Racing and historic Arundal Castle and Portsmouth are also close by. Chichester has a great selection of restaurants and shops from high street brands to a range of excellent boutiques.
The Chichester Festival Theatre is world renowned and each year produces a wide spectrum of cultural/musical events. The famous Festival of Speed and Goodwood revival are 2 key points in the areas social calender as is the Goodwood festival for horse racing and excellent racing held at Fontwell during the summer.
Bosham is a pretty historic village, famous for being the rumoured site where King Canute unsuccessfully ordered the tide to retreat and the Saxon Church which appears in the Bayeux tapestry. Bosham is appealing to sailors for its active sailing club, to artists for the stunning views and to walkers for the lovely countryside. It sits on a pretty creek at the edge of the 30 miles of navigable channels of Chichester Harbour, an important wild life sanctury. To the north of the village is the station, with easy access to London Victoria via Chichester to the east and London Waterloo via Havant to the west. Links by road to the A27 to Brighton, the A3M to London via guildford and the M27 to Southampton are nearby.
Local attractions include Goodwood, with its stunning racecourse and motor racing circuit, Polo at Cowdray and the historic Cathedral city of Chichester, with wide variety of shopping and the renowned Festival Theatre
