Both the train and bus station are within a short walk and the house is also within walking distance of the city centre, with its selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. Chichester offers an array of events, such as the annual summer festival and it has a superb mix of shops in the centre, which has been carefully preserved to retain its character. The cathedral dominates the landscape and can be seen for miles around. There is a leisure centre nearby and the famous Chichester Festival Theatre has shows running throughout the year.

There are some superb beaches in the area, including at West Wittering and there are also some excellent sailing villages within a short drive, Bosham and Itchenor being the most notable examples. "just what we were looking for"

we were in chichester to see friends and attend several days at the glorious goodwood festival. the custom house location couldnt have been better for us, great easy walking distance into the city centre and not far from the race track. the house was nicely furnished with a great kitchen which was very well equipped. we had a super lovely time and would definitely book again. the only down side to the stay was the lack of wifi in the property, we rent properties regularly around the world and this is the first one that didnt have wifi - this was my fault as I didnt check!

Thank you for your review, it's great to see you had such a nice stay at Customs House and in Chichester.

Kind regards,
