This part of the south - east has some of the best weather in the U.K. and also some of the best tourist attractions. It is blessed with a huge amount of activities, sports and places of interest to visit and is one of the most popular destinations in England.

Chichester

East Walls View is set in an excellent position in the centre of Chichester, just off East Street, which is one of the four central streets which feed off The Cross. From the front door of the apartment building, one can literally be amongst all the various shops within 30 seconds, with cafes and restaurants being in abundance. The Festival Theatre is also within walking distance and there is a security intercom. Chichester is steeped in history, being famous for its Roman connections and the heart is enclosed by the ancient city walls. There are numerous fascinating places to visit, such as the Fishbourne Roman Palace, the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum at Singleton and Spinnaker Tower at Portsmouth, one of the highest viewing towers in Europe.

The area is blessed with some of the best beaches in the area, such as the lovely sandy beach at West Wittering and wind surfing and sailing are popular past times. There is also the internationally famous Goodwood race course which hosts Glorious Goodwood, one of the calendars' most popular horse racing weeks. Goodwood also has the famous Festival of Speed and Revival Meeting, as well as the beautiful Goodwood House.

"Ideal for our requirements"

The Penthouse is ideally located just a short walk from the centre of Chichester. Access to shops, restaurants and pubs is good. It is also well placed for easy access to a number of parks and other open spaces, perfect for an evening walk. Alternatively you can just sit in the lounge and watch the pedestrian traffic on the town wall immediately below.

We found the Penthouse clean, tidy and very modern, with all the features you would expect. My two young daughters shared a bedroom, sufficiently far away from the living area to not be disturbed. While only an apartment, it provided ample space for our needs. We were not disturbed by our neighbours, and in fact did not hear them at all.

Thank you for your review and it is great to see that you enjoyed your stay at The Penthouse so much. It is certainly convenient for all that the centre of Chichester has to offer and offers a great space for guests.

"Well located, well appointed, recommended"

The location of the Penthouse is near the centre of Chichester and ideal for shopping and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and well equipped and we enjoyed our stay there. Parking is provided but the space was a little distance from the unit.

"Splendid flat inChichester"

Splendid flat in Chichester - in av very nice area in the middle of the town. A nice Italian restaurant in the Ground Floor - and a short walking distance to the railway station.
Everything nice & clean - almost like new! Superb for 4 friends on a getaway.

"Excellent location and accommodation"

The apartment was immaculate, good quality fittings and fixtures and easy to access, parking was easy and secure. The size of the rooms were excellent and the location made it ideal for lots of shopping, cafes and parks. We stayed with two teenagers and found that each of us had our own space when needed and we could also be a family unit.

"Well equipped and a fantastic location"

If you want a comfortable place to stay next to the centre of Chichester, the Penthouse is the place to stay. It easily accommodates four (one double bed and two singles) and at a push, another two on the sofa bed in the living room. The flat was immaculate, with good quality kitchen appliances (NEFF), two flat-screen TV's and an excellent shower with loads of hot water. The wi-fi worked well.
The gated parking means you have somewhere to put a car - a bit of a nightmare in Chichester otherwise.
