There is a courtyard to the rear. It is adjacent to a selection of restaurants and pubs, with the main shopping centre in Chichester being only a couple of hundred yards away. There are various public car parks in the city for which permits can be obtained and just down the road from the property are three parks, including the stunningly beautiful Priory Park, where cricket is played throughout the summer.
The South East England region
This part of the south - east is steeped in history and enjoys some of the best weather in the U.K. It also has some of the best and most famous attractions in the U.K. and London is within relatively easy travelling distance.
Chichester is an historic cathedral city which is famous for its Roman connections as well as its cathedral. Its centre has been carefully preserved in order to retain its immense character and the main shopping area is set inside the ancient city walls. As well as having an interesting array of shops in the centre, there are some beautiful parks interspersing the city, which also boasts various fitness and leisure centres, with tennis, swimming and squash being popular past times. At the north end of the city there is the internationally renowned Festival Theatre which attracts some world famous actors from all over the globe. The house is accessed through the car park in New Park Road and within about 2 minutes, one can be in the main shopping precinct in East Street.
There are so many places to visit in the area, such as Goodwood to the north, with horse racing and the motor sports events being popular attractions, along with the beautiful South Downs. To the south are some of the best beaches in West Sussex, with West Wittering being an immensely popular sandy beach for both families and wind surfers alike to enjoy. There are lots of museums to visit, including Fishbourne Roman Palace, the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum at Singleton and Chichester Museum. The larger towns of Brighton and Portsmouth are both within easy driving distance.
