Northleigh Cottage
About the home
This surprisingly spacious property provides an opportunity for both active family holidays, and also people needing a relaxing quiet break. This is one of the most sought after areas in the south east, and the cottage itself has been tastefully and practically decorated, to accommodate groups including children and pets. As well as the beautiful sandy child and dog-friendly beaches where you can learn to wind surf in the shallow waters, there are lots of things to do and see, starting with the historic cathedral city of Chichester 3 miles away with it's rich mix of shops and the Chichester Festival Theatre.
Other local attractions include Goodwood race course and motor racing circuit, the Roman Palace at Fishhbourne, the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum, West Dean Gardens, Goodwood House, Stansted House and Park, Arundel Castle and Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth which has some of the best panoramic views in the south. There is excellent countryside all round for mountain biking, horse riding, and walking and being situated within 10 minute drive of the newly appointed South Downs National Park, there is unlimited protected countryside to explore for miles.
Northleigh Cottage is situated directly behind the owners main residence Northleigh House, but the property has a private secluded garden area and it's own parking bay for 2 cars. Arrangements for storage of bikes and boats can be arranged by prior appointment.
A beach pass for daily access to West Wittering private beach estate is included in the price of the cottage. This can save up to £6 per visit.

Conditions
Northleigh Cottage is detached yet situated directly behind the owners main residence Northleigh House and guests should expect to see the owners coming and going. The family have two very friendly Labradors and can offer advice on any local walks and places of interest.
Northleigh House has a very large garden area which is not offered as part of the rental agreement of Northleigh Cottage.
The shared entrance to both properties is accessible via the main road and so a car is essential. It is possible to walk to the excellent local shop - which has a post office, dry cleaners, photo lab, bakers and well stocked shop - which would take aprox 10-15 mins but aprox 400 yards of this would not have pavement access.
