Set just back from the beautiful West Wittering beach and close to the National Trust owned ‘East Head’. ‘Naboths Vineyard’ is an imposing residence situated on the exclusive ‘Strand’ sea front private estate and stands in large, established gardens with views over adjoining farmland and also to Snowhill Creek and Chichester Harbour.

The accommodation is very spacious and is further enhanced by the large open plan first floor reception room with living/dining and kitchen areas and access onto a wide south facing balcony.

Local shops in West Wittering are within about 0.75 mile while East Wittering which offers an excellent variety of shops and facilities including a health centre, chemists, banks etc is only 1 mile away.

The Cathedral City of Chichester is 6 miles to the north and offers a wealth of cultural and entertainment activities such as the Festival Theatre, Pallant House art gallery, Cathedral, multiplex cinema and leisure centre. Within two miles of Chichester is Goodwood House the location for the world famous Festival of Speed, Goodwood motor racing circuit and 'Glorious Goodwood' horse racing. Chichester Harbour is designated an area of outstanding beauty.

The South East England / Sussex region

Approximately 65 miles south west of London, 'West Manhood' covers a small area starting some 3 miles south of the Cathedral City of Chichester and stretches a further 4 miles to the coast where the beaches look across The Solent to the Isle of Wight.

The villages of East Wittering, West Wittering and Bracklesham Bay are situated here and this is where you will find a wide choice of self-catered accommodation offered by the holiday letting department of 'Baileys Estate Agents', (0044 1243 672217). A mainline station located at Chichester provides a regular service to London Victoria in about 1 hour 45 minutes and to Gatwick in about 1 hour 5 minutes. An alternative, slightly faster rail service to London is also available from Havant in about 1 hour 20 minutes to London Waterloo.

The Chichester / West Wittering area

The Cathedral city of Chichester is one of the most well-preserved Georgian cities in the UK , with its centre sitting within the famous old Roman walls. The four main pedestrianised streets, North, South, East and West converge on the central Market Cross and offer a comprehensive range of shops, bars and restaurants. The

The arts are well catered for as Chichester is home to the world renowned Festival Theatre and smaller Minerva Theatre and also the Pallant House Art Gallery which is now enjoying a well deserved international reputation for its contemporary art. Annually the city plays host to a number of celebrated music and arts festivals centred around the Cathedral.

The waters of the Solent and Chichester Harbour are particularly popular with sailors. The harbour is made up of a series of tidal creeks and is designated an area of outstanding natural beauty with wonderful walks while Chichester Marina, Birdham Pool and Itchenor Sailing Club provide the nearest sailing facilities. The 'National Trust' reserve (1.5 miles) at East Head has perhaps the most picturesque 'blue flag' beach in West Sussex and the award winning coastline of the Witterings and Bracklesham Bay in general provides many opportunities for swimming, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and landboarding.

Other recreational activities are well catered for, there is a multiplex cinema in Chichester and several Golf courses are in close proximity. Apart from its' internationally known racecourse which offers the 'Glorious Goodwood' meeting in the summer, Goodwood also provides many other facilities including golf, country club and airfield and plays host to the world famous annual 'Festival of Speed' and the motor 'Revival' meeting in September at the historic motor racing circuit.

There are exceptional walking, horse riding and mountain biking opportunities to be enjoyed in the South Downs countryside which now enjoys the status of a national park.

West Wittering is situated on the coast 6 miles south of the Cathedral City of Chichester. Chichester has a main line railway station which provides a regular service to London Victoria in about 1 hour 45 minutes and to Gatwick in about 1 hour 5 minutes. An alternative, slightly faster rail service to London is also available from Havant in about 1 hour 20 minutes to London Waterloo. Brighton, Portsmouth and Southampton are all easily reached along the coast. The area is well served from Chichester with the A27 (M27) coastal route and A3 to London.

Portsmouth provides a cross channel ferry link to France and Spain while airports are situated at Gatwick, Southampton and Bournemouth.
