La Stalla is a spacious split level apartment positioned on one side of the hamlet Montebuoni. The apartment is 90sqm arranged over three levels which have been furnished to a very high standard. Access to the property is via a very large paved terrace. The hamlet of Montebuoni was once a large estate producing wine and olive oil. It is these original buildings which have been restored and modernised whilst still maintaining many of the original features.
The large sunny terrace is furnished with a barbeque, dining table, chairs, parasols and sun loungers and is the perfect place to have breakfast, sunbathe, dine or relax with a glass of the local wine overlooking the gorgeous surrounding countryside.

The Tuscany region
Set in the heart of the Chianti wine producing region, the Hamlet of Montebuoni is surrounded by rolling Tuscan countryside with its olive groves and vineyards, yet within walking distance of the small village of San Sano. The local vineyard of Castello di Ama which the hamlet overlooks has weekly tours of its vineyards with wine tasting
Chianti / Radda area
Ideally located for visiting the large cities of Florence, Siena and San Gimignano as well as discovering the smaller Chianti towns and villages. Worth seeing is the famous Palio of Siena which takes place in July and September with many of the locals dressing in medieval costume.
The Autumn means its harvest time which is usually a good excuse to have a festival. October/November is when the truffles start to arrive - the area around Montebuoni produces the white truffle - considered by those who know to be the finest of the funghi. This is then followed by various Christmas markets with the opportunity to pick up some unique gifts.
How to get there
Both Ryanair and Easyjet have reasonably priced flights. Florence is an hours drive Pisa and Bologna 2 hours drive and Rome is 3 hours drive.

Further details indoors: The front door from the terrace opens directly into the fully fitted country kitchen/diner with oven, hob, fridge with freezer section and dishwasher, to one side is a wooden dining table and six chairs. Stairs lead down to the split level lower floors where there is a bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom with shower, basin and W.C. On the lower level is the lounge with comfortable sofas a flat screen TV with some satellite channels and DVD player. Next door is the second bathroom with shower, basin and W.C. Upstairs running the length of the house is the large triple bedroom. This is a lovely bright airy room, with a double and a single bed. From the windows you have great views over the hamlet and the sun terrace below.
Further details outdoors: The huge well-furnished patio in front of the villa is where the sun shines from early morning to sunset offering the most magnificent views. The large swimming pool is to one side of the hamlet, surrounded by mature shrubs and trees, with views of the rolling hillside in the distance. This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this unspoilt heaven. The swimming pool is 15 metres x 7.5 metres and is accessed by ladder. There is also a small children’s swimming pool, which has a constant depth of one metre. Both pools are open from Easter until November. Montebuoni has its own full size astro-turf tennis court located in the grounds near the pool area, and there are rackets and balls available. There is a small typical Chianti village a short walk from the hamlet, with a grocery store which stocks all the basics, plus local wines, oils, hams and cheeses. Visit the next door vineyard Castello di Ama one of the Chianti regions finest wine producers for a wine tasting session. Learn how to cook traditional Tuscan dishes at ‘Toscana Mia’ cookery school, who will organise long or short courses to suit your needs – even the children can get involved!
