The impeccably restored farmhouse accommodation is situated on a Wine and Olive estate located in the Chianti hills near Florence (7km), just out of the small village Chiesanuova – San Casciano Val di Pesa. The family-owned estate makes variouse houses and apartments available for holidays. There are houses and apartments for two, four, six + persons. The owners live in the adjacent ancient Villa.
'Moscardino' apartment is very tastefully and comfortably furnished, large windows offer beautiful views over pastures, woods, vineyards and olive groves, towards the distant villages and villas on the neighbouring hills. The groundfloor apartment is composed of three double bedrooms (one with two single beds), two modern bathrooms and a spacious open plan kitchen / dining / living room with open fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped with gas stove, oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher etc. There is a nice terrace available with barbecue for outside dining, with beautiful vistas.
A swimming pool (12 x 5 m.) is available in the park of the nearby Villa, just a few meters from the house (open from 8 a.m to 8 p.m.).

The Tuscany region
The estate is situated in secluded rural setting in the Chianti countryside. The Chianti Region is a renowned wine producing region with many famous winery's to visit, most of which produce also excellent olive oil. In the area there are many historical towns such as Certaldo, San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena.. or for a day trip you can visit Lucca, Arezzo, Pisa and the coast is just one hours drive away.
In Chiesanuova there are various grocery shops, some of which are open also Saturday-Sundays. There is an excellent supermarket in nearby San Casciano, which sells a full range of fresh local produce as well as the usual grocery items. In San Casciano there are banks, many restaurants, speciality shops, cafes and a big market held every Monday on the main square.
