Set in the heart of Chianti Classico, the apartment is set in a small rural settlement made up of 2 farmhouses, 3 apartments, and a beautiful villa.
The swimming pool (6x12; depth:1,70) with stunning views across the valley and the surrounding hills, the well kept garden, with its comfortable deck chairs, offers to the guests an oasis of calm. At complete disposal of the guests are also a private parking area, a wash machine space, a ping pong table, a small soccer field and a wood with a stream for relaxing walking in the nature.

APARTMENT IL GELSOMINO
Once you have entered and parked the car in the estate of I Gigli, only a few meters straight ahead, just after the bend on the left, a path guarded by cypresses leads you to the lovely apartment Gelsomino. Decorated in a simple, elegant style, the apartment offers comfortable holiday accommodation for up to two guests.
Upon entering you will find a large warmly coloured kitchen/living room which is fully fitted with gas hob, fridge, refrigerator, and microwave. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided. The living area is furnished with a comfortable couch, an armchair, an open fire place and a satellite TV. A corridor leads from the kitchen to the bathroom (WC, basin, shower stall, bidet) and to the bedroom, which shows beautiful vaulted brick ceilings and provides a view of the front terrace. Apartment Gelsomino enjoys a picturesque panorama of the countryside and a close access to the borgo's shared pool. The paved terrace, directly outside the kitchen, is encircled partly by an hedge and partly by a stone made law wall, which give the apartment maximum privacy. It is also an ideal space for outside eating and watching the sun go down.

following the direction for Romita. After approx. 3 km you are arrived.

When the owner, 20 years ago, bought this property there were only ruins. The buildings were completely restored and modernised to a very high standard in 1997 with absolute respect of the Tuscan elegant atmosphere. It was careful to provide the apartments (all with their own private terrace or garden) with all of comforts, particular attention was given to interior design and furnishings.
In a dominating position, this hamlet is also an estate producing wine and olive oil extending to the surrounded vineyards, olive groves and suggestive woods of oak, cypresses and pine trees.

Only a few minutes walk away, there is a cluster of houses, called Romita, with a tiny groceries shop/bar and a good restaurant.
