A short text can never equal the sensation you can prove staying here… so call me or let me call you to tell you why its worth!

Anyway here follow basic information you need to have about the villa:
Authentic Tuscan cottage just 10 minutes drive from Radda in Chianti, delicious small village, with its election of restaurants and shops . In a quiet and peaceful position, the spacious and comfortable rooms of the villa allow each party member to enjoy a little solitude whenever required. In the large sitting and dining room with fireplace you can enjoy with friends or family a good Tuscan meal. In the warmer summer the loggia terrace with bbq and pizza oven provides a perfect spot for eating al fresco. For the active guests a tennis court and a large swimming-pool are at complete disposal, situated within the large garden granting much privacy and space for children to play!

Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, medieval villages like Monteriggioni, Montepulciano, Volterra, Greve in Chianti, the castles of Broglio, many museums and art attractions… each Chianti villa offers you the opportunity to reach in a daytrip those wonderful places!

Why should you choose my villa??
My father was a farmer, he produced Chianti “Gallo Nero” wine and oil. I inheritated from him the love for this land and try to show it through the care of the villa, giving you the opportunity to taste my wine, appreciate a Tuscan meal cooked by a Chef at home or taking part to cooking lessons. All this within a villa that has a 300 hundred years old history…

Chianti / Radda area

Have a look at the Special Events mentioned below and come to enjoy the Chianti area during its typical events!
EVENTS 2010:
- "CANTINE APERTE", last weekend of May: over 800 wine cellars open to be visited for free wine tasting.
- "PALIO" OF SIENA, 2 July and 16 August: the bareback horse races.
- "CALICI DI STELLE": 10 August: possibility to delight in "the raining of San Lorenzo's tears" quality wine and typical quality products in the historical centre and piazzas, among courtyards of unexpected beauty and castles.
- "WELCOME HARVEST", September: discover the production cycle of wine through walks through the vineyards, visits to the companies, and tastings.
- "ST. MARTINS DAY", 2nd week of November: the Wineries will be open to the public for the tasting of the "Novello Wine" (the new wine of last season)
- CHIANTI CYCLING PARK:
June 2010: "Chianti Classic" non competitive cycling road race
October 2010: "L'Eroica", Vintage Race, participants from all over the world

How to get there

There are direct flights to Florence and Pisa from several airports in the UK.
You can fly from Gatwick to Florence on most days with Meridiana.
From Bristol, Gatwick and Luton you can take an Easyjet flight to Pisa on most days including weekends. Gatwick also has a British Airways flight to Pisa on the week ends.
From Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bournemouth, East Midlands and Birmingham you can take a Ryanair flight to Pisa. Their flights from Stansted, Liverpool and Dublin leave Monday-Sunday.
With Jet2 you can fly from Leeds/Bradford, Belfast, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Manchester to Pisa.
