Near the Tignano Castle, San Romolo lays 3km from a quaint medieval hamlet, Baberino Val d'Elsa. This farmhouse has been fully restored into a comfortable holiday home peacefully surrounded by olive groves and vineyards.
Chianti / Tavarnelle Val di Pesa area
In summer time there are many festivals in all the villages of the Chianti, every Tuesday evening there is an artisans' market in Tavarnelle val di Pesa. You can visit all the arts towns (Firenze, Siena, Sangimignano, Pisa, Volterra, Lucca, Arezzo).
How to get there
Railway, Bus station is just 3 km from here! But we're on hills so you need a car! Florence airport is just 30 km on the highway where you can rent a car. San Romolo is a very good place to discover Tuscany because is very near at: Florence, Siena, San Gimigano, Volterra, Chianti. We're in the middle of Tuscany!
