Chianti / Radda area
Radda in Chianti is a lovely village in the middle of the Tuscany and Chianti Region. It's high about 500 meters from the sea. The village is medioevil type and it's surrunding of wonderful wine graps and particular lanscape. In the village you could find all you need:
Internet point, big and small market ( drink & food) , wine bar, pub, restaurant, "pizzeria" (pizza place). ice cream shop ,Church, farmacy, medical doctor, police station.
How to get there
By CAR:
From Milano, Bologna, Roma or Pisa take Main road (A1) FIRENZE direction until CERTOSA exit. Take it and follow Siena direction until S. DONATO exit. follow direction to GREVE in CHIANTI until you'll find the indicator to RADDA IN CHIANTI. Take it and follow stright to Radda in Chianti for about 5 km. You will find HOLIDAY HOUSE "IL PAGGINO" on the left side of the road (4 flags on the road). We are before Radda in Chianti. Eleonora & Francesco will be weating for you at your arrived

28-06-2007 Ciao belli in Italia Thank you for a lot of fine pictures. It was very well done of you making a so much food - italian food to us. We liked very much to meet people from America, england, France , Germany and of course you. I also want to say that we are very content with il Gensomino / il Paggino, the beds were wonderful , the rooms very nice - briefly said: we liked very much to be guests at your house. And of course; we love Italia. I think it is possible that we are coming back some time. The summer is pretty up here in the north, with long days og only a few hours with darkness. I have a cabin in the mountains and we often go there to be in the nature fishing and walking in the mountain. ( I should hav tried to write this in italian, may be I do .....) We are grandparents and spend a lot of time together with our grandchildren, especially now when scools are closed. Thank you again, we have only pleasent memories from your place in Toscana. Love

The setting is ideal with beautiful views and lovely areas for sitting and relaxing - we thought the tented sitting out areas in the flower meadow were an inspirational idea and gave very tranquil areas for sitting reading and looking at the wonderful views. The pool area was a real hit with my family, but my wife and I will also remember the wonderful evenings sat under the vine trellis drinking Chianti and listening to the crickets. It was a fantastic relaxing holiday and we will cherish great memories of the area and of you both. Your welcome on arrival and helpfulness throughout our stay made a lasting impression. The apartment was very well equipped and made our stay so comfortable. The sun shone every day and we thoroughly enjoyed your excellent facilities. The pool must have the best view in Italy. We had three fantastic weeks at Il Paggino. Il Paggino is a wonderful location for visiting many of the area's historic cities with Florence and Siena only one hour away and Pisa two hours. We took the opportunity to visit Rome which is only four hours away by car. Radda's restaurants offer delicious food at affordable prices and the people were so helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to coming back in 2009. All the best,
