It's a lovely and characteristic village in Tuscany, located in Chianti region.
The village is medioevil type and it's It's high about 500 meters from the sea. Radda in Chianti is surrounded by a wonderful landscape with vineyards and exclusive lanscape.

Exit at FIRENZE CERTOSA

Take RADDA IN CHIANTI
drive through LUCARELLI town and after about 8km you will find CASA VACANZE "IL PAGGINO" on the left side of the road (we have 2 FLAGS on the road).

Our house is located before Radda in Chianti town.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would recommend this excellent location, ideal to explore the wonderful Tuscan countryside. If you are potential guests considering this - then book! If you do visit recommend you visit the nearby Volpaia winery we really enjoyed the tour there. Also consider taking a walking tour in Florence,we used Dark Rome tours (booked via Viatour)it was an excellent way to see & learn about this beautiful city. The garden is really perfect with all the little sitting areas, and of course the lovely view. We enjoyed all of the local Restaurants, and the lovely towns and villages surrounding Radda. We had a good journey home, reclaiming my jacket, en route!! Glad to say our much loved dog hurled herself at us when we arrived home. What a wonderful place Il Paggino is to stay. We had a great 2 weeks relaxing inside and outside making tha most of the weather. We loved being able to pick the fresh basil from the garden to put on our mozzarella and tomato salads.Your fresh cucumbers were also delicious, not to mention the wine and olive oil. We loved your little museum, the pool with it’s beautiful view and our apartment „La Viola“. Watching the sunset from right in front of our apartment really is a special experience. Ciao belli in Italia Thank you for a lot of fine pictures. It was very well done of you making a so much food - italian food to us. We liked very much to meet people from America, england, France , Germany and of course you. I also want to say that we are very content with il Gensomino / il Paggino, the beds were wonderful , the rooms very nice - briefly said: we liked very much to be guests at your house. And of course; we love Italia. I think it is possible that we are coming back some time. The summer is pretty up here in the north, with long days og only a few hours with darkness. I have a cabin in the mountains and we often go there to be in the nature fishing and walking in the mountain. ( I should hav tried to write this in italian, may be I do .....) We are grandparents and spend a lot of time together with our grandchildren, especially now when scools are closed. Thank you again, we have only pleasent memories from your place in Toscana. Love

We stayed in a beautiful toscanian flat, enjoyed the friendly contact to Elenore and Francesco. One highlight was the Thursday-Dinner, a multicultural meeting with other guests of Il Paggino. We, along with our American friends Pat and Bill stayed in Rosa. We greatly enjoyed our week. Firenze, Arezzo and Siena are all within easy reach. The region has lots to boast. The apartments have everything you need for a holiday. The bed linen is superbly laundered and still has the ironed look after a week. The highlight, however, at 'il Paggino' is the weekly meal Elenora and Francesco organise for their 'guests'. It is not often that at one table you get: 4 Norwegians, 2 Italians, 2 Germans, 2 Americans a Frenchman (my husband) and an English woman. Thank you for the photos of this evening.

E&F, We've been telling all of our friends about your beautiful accommodations -- the views, the pool, the playground -- and its proximity to the surrounding Tuscan sights. Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine dans votre gîte. Décoration à l'ancienne de très bon goût, pièces magnifiques dans leur volume, et un accueil très chaleureux. Dear Eleonora & Francesco, We are eventually back in South Africa after a 6 week holiday. Our highlight was definitely staying at Il Paggino. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and comfortable in a beautiful environment. For those of you who found this website and are thinking of going to Tuscany, this is the place to stay. We spent delicious moments in the Paggino house. From the beginning we've got the felling to be in our home and the kids enjoyed the large garden. The quality provided is perfect. We stayed here for a week and visited most of the famous places. However a week is by far not enough to discover everything in Tuscany. A good reason to return for future holidays. Ciao, Eleonora e Francesco, We had a superb time in Tuscany. Il Paggino is excellent and we enjoyed our apartment, Rosa, very much. I know that our friends Gerard and Kathryn really enjoyed their short stay. Your welcome and hospitality really made our holiday. We are telling all our friends what a wonderful place you have. Dear Eleonora and Francesco, We feel bad for not having written in your questbook sooner, but better late than never. We had a wonderful two weeks in Il Paggino in July. Your wonderful friendliness, warmth and hospitatility was outstanding. Your place is wonderful and in wonderful surroundings and we all loved both Il Paggino and Tuscany. It was our first but surely not last visit to Tuscany. We still talk about our wonderful Holiday and about you and especially Emma (11 years old) fell in love with you and still keeps talking about you. We hope to be back one day to have more games of kups, more friendly dinners with you and much, much more of Tuscany. All the best to you both.

Nous avons eu chez vous deux merveilleuses semaines. Le logement beau et comfortable, le paysage magnifique et de plus l'accueil est très chaleureux. "I have only good things to say and remember about out stay in Apartment Gelsomino at Il Paggino. It was very spacious, extremely neat and clean with modern kitchen and bathrooms. It was decorated in a very lovely Italian theme. The location of the property itself was excellent, giving us many options for day trips each day without having to spend all day in the car. Our hosts, Francesco and Eleanora, are a very beautiful, enthusiastic young couple and it is apparent they have invested much time and love into making Il Paggino a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. They have been managing Il Paggino as a guest house for only
about one year and they have done so much. I know they will have a very successful business for many years to come."
