The owner or their agent cannot accept liability for guests who unfortunately suffer an accident either inside or outside the property.We recommend this type of cover is included in you travel insurance.Please also be extra vigilant when children are at both swimming pools.
d) Cars
All vehicles supplied by ourselves are fully insured but it is also advisable to add this to your travel insurance.NB If you intend to drive yourself,please make sure you have your driving licence with you at all times.

We are a group of 14 aged from 5 to 80 years old.Noel greeted us at the airport and sent us on our way with the driver. About 1 plus hours later we arrive at this heavenly home in the mountains.... more |

We arrived to Chiang Mai by train. We were pretty worried that Noel and/or the driver would not be there because the train was significantly late. However, they were there when we got there. Noel greeted us and sent us on our way with the driver. From that point on, everything was great. The driver did not speak much English. However, we had someone with us who could speak both English and Thai, so this was not an issue. The driver was great. He was able to take us everywhere that we wanted to go. He even took us to some places that we did not know of when time permitted. The drive back to the vacation home on the first night was a bit nerve-racking. The roads are very windy and dark. After that, both for our safety and for the drivers sake, we decided to make sure we got back before it got too dark for the rest of our stay. The home itself is beautiful. The 5 bedrooms in the home are all large. One bedroom had 2 beds (for a total of 6 beds). There is a balcony and a patio. Everyone in our group loved our stay there. The onsite help also was very nice and helpful whenever requested. The view from the patio or balcony is excellent (assuming you like mountains). We did have one issue (a person arranging events for us changing a price after we had completed the event) on our stay, but it was not really associated with the home or the owner. Aside from that, the only thing that you could really complain about is that there is not really any restaurants or convenience stores in close proximity. But, that's a part of the reason you should stay here. I'm not sure when I will make it back to Chiang Mai with a group. But, when I do, i'll definitely be in contact with Noel again. :) Response: Many thanks for your review Don We are delighted you really enjoyed your stay in our mountain view chateau and hope that you'll all be back again soon. The magnificent house has an uninterrupted mountains view. We were fascinated by the design of this large solid wooden Thai chateau. The property was built using mostly beautiful reclaimed timber from traditional Thai houses. As a family, we had a fun and relaxing time at the Doi Luang Mountain Estate. We were well looked after by the chef and the house keepers. The food was excellent with the ingredients fresh from the surrounding fields and farms. We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful and unique stay in Northern Thailand. Most people would only dream of having a holiday on a 10 acre private estate,so thank you for making that dream come true.Everthing from being met at the airport to being taken back again could not have been more perfect.We called it our private castle on the mountain and we shall be never forget the wonderfully relaxing and inspiring hours we spent on your magnificent mountain view terrace.We certainly hope to return one day would without doubht, highly recommend to others.

We spent an idyllic four days and nights at Doi Luang Private Reserve.The house itself was a great place to spend time and relax: spacious,clean and comfortable.Almost any request was granted,including an open fire bbq in the evenings.After walking through the living room you go out onto the huge verander and you know immediately that you've arrived somewhere very special.The views are astonishing.A beautifully kept garden with huge lawns leads to a nature reserve and the perfect view of a mountain range with nothing else in sight.No other buildings or people for miles around.Just you and the mountains.the perfect place to relax and spend time with friends and family.We had planned to see some elephants,temples and caves,but most of us never left the villa.

As I was the ''old lady'' of the party,I was happy to be sitting on the shady patio with a view which was lush green and mountainous---- which seemed privately all ours!!. So peaceful and comfortable in all the accommodation.The beautiful grounds and magnificent crafted wooden tables and chairs in the house or perhaps the ''mansion'' It was a delightfull trip with also many interesting things to do within easy reach.The staff looked after us all really well and our thanks go out to Noel for all his arrangements.
