About the home

A 2-bedroom semi detached cottage with an open rural aspect to the rear.
Whether you enjoy sightseeing, shopping, walking or the beach, it is all within a short distance from this cottage.
A warm well furnished property will give you the ideal base. The local bus service takes only 10 minutes into Chester. Only a 5 minute walk down a quiet lane and you are at the local shopping park to stock up on those necessities.

A 2-bedroom semi-detached cottage, located within Bretton a small hamlet only 4 miles from Chester.
A bus to chester stops outside the property in the mornings and afternoon, a short walk to the end of the lane gives a more frequent bus service (approx every 1/2 hour). By car Chester is only 10 minutes away.
There are many country pubs in the area many serving good food and Ales.
The cottage is well presented,there is 1 double room at the rear with TV/DVD (only for watching DVDs) that overlooks fields and there is a large twin room at the front with 2 single beds and a TV with a Playstation 2 (only for watching DVDs and playing PS2). A portable bed can be made available for a third person (child/young teenager only) to sleep in this room if required. A travel cot is also available if required and a high chair.
Also upstairs is a large bathroom with WC, Bath and separate Shower.
The Lounge/Dining Room has 2 sofas, CD HiFi, TV, Freeview, DVD and Video.
The Modern kitchen is fitted to a high standard with dishwasher, fridge with freezer box, freezer, Washing Machine, Microwave, electric hob and oven.
The property is fitted with an intruder alarm

There is off road parking at the front of the property, a garage is also available for those with a small family car.
The private rear garden has a large patio area that leads into a lawned area and established garden. The patio has 4 chairs and a table. A BBQ is available on request.

Conditions

With respect to our future guests no smoking except outside.
Refundable breakages deposit of £150 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
A deposit of £100 per week is required with booking - A booking is confirmed only when a deposit is received.
If the booking is made eight weeks or less before arrival then the full rental is payable. .
Due to the age of the property the stairs are steeper than normal and have a handrail. Please take this into consideration when booking

Chester is a place that welcomes large amounts of visitors all year round. With its Roman origins there are many sights to see. North Wales is on the doorstep and can be easily explored due to the A55 trunk road that passes through it. If its beach, Lake or Mountain North Wales has it. Liverpool and Manchester are also within an hour away.

“Good value for money” Very well equipped and clean, roomy cottage with beautiful garden. In walking distance to shopping facilities. Owners are very friendly.

“Very good base for visiting Chester and Cheshire” Although we thought the cottage was very good, one or two small points could have been improved. It would have been useful to have had some cleaning materials left. It would also have been better to have had a loaf of bread left rather than biscuits.

“Lovely cottage clean and good location” We stayed here for a week in October 2009 while visiting family and friends in the Wirral and Southport and also a visit to Cheshire Oaks, the owners are really helpful and we found everything we needed. Its also very close to a supermarket which meant stopping off to buy bits for dinner is very easy. We loved it and would recommend
