The river Dee is only 5 minutes away, a lovely picnic can be had on the meadows, The Groves with its bandstand is the place to relax and watch the world go by. If you fancy some fun then hire a boat, or take the "show boat" for a 30 minute tour up the river.
For the Kids and Adults, the most visited Zoo in Britain is on your door step - Chester Zoo! It has everything from the "Big cats" to Elephants and the smaller kids corner as well.
