"Delightful cottage in charming village with excellent location"

Inglenook cottage is everything it claims to be. We used most of the facilities. It was all in very good order. The community shop is conveniently close and surprisingly well stocked; we felt we were … More

"Beautiful cottage with amazing garden in idyllic village"

We (my husband and I and our 2 year old son) stayed at Inglenook Cottage over Easter 2014. We were looking for a cosy cottage that was close to Chester and had a garden. Inglenook didn't disappoint. The cottage is beautiful with exposed beams and a wood burning stove. The bedrooms were a good size and would suit either a couple or a family (bunk-beds are included!). It is situated in Ashton Hayes, a very scenic village with an amazing shop and very friendly locals, just a short (15 minute) drive into Chester. The absolute icing on the cake was the fantastic 60 foot garden complete with football net (our son was in heaven)! The owners Jenny and Chris live next door and were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be booking again when next we're up North.
