About the home

The detached bungalow provides spacious accommodation for up to 5 guests. It has a large comfortable lounge with TV and DVD player. The modern fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine and there is a dining area equipped with table and chairs within the kitchen. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished. There is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom. The bathroom has all the usual facilities including a bath and a shower. Our guests can enjoy the private garden with patio area in the summer and we also provide a barbecue for our guests enjoyment..

The local pub, which serves good food, is within walking distance and the bus stop which gives a direct link to the center of Chester is only two minutes walk over the road. Local shops can be found just around the corner and there is a large supermarket just over one mile away - the bus route also serves this.
All heating and electric is included in the price together with all bed linen and kitchen towels.

“Lovely spacious well looked after holiday bungalow” We chose to stay at Avallon for a weeks break in Chester, as it was advertised as being near the city centre, with a bus route right outside. There was myself, my husband and our teenage son. The bungalow is huge, lovely and airy and spacious with 3 beautiful bedrooms, good size bathroom and kitchen and a sizeable garden. The bungalow was clean when we arrived, but I do have a habit of taking to kitchens and bathrooms with bleach just so I know they are as clean as possible! The refrigerator did need a good wipe over as the shelves were a bit sticky, which was probably due to previous occupants. We had some lovely evenings in, the kitchen is well equiped and the appliances easy to use and we also enjoyed the take away round the corner. The bungalow is in an ideal position for Chester. There is a fantastic Park and Ride service within walking distance, near the zoo, under 16s ride free, and an adult return is only £1.70. Fantastic value. Also North Wales was only a short drive away. The owners are approachable and very friendly. We did have a couple of issues and queries, and these were addressed and resolved immediately. The only thing I would say is that we would have found a guest book really helpful, as on previous holidays we have always found recommendations and comments from previous visitors an advantage. Thank you for a lovely stay. If we visit the Chester area again, we would not hesitate to return, and would recommend
