A lovely modern detached house situated only a couple of minutes walk from the River Thames with pubs, restaurants, garage and a shop in this attractive part of Surrey. An ideal location for visiting London by train (1 hour to London Waterloo from Chertsey) or many other places by car as there is easy access to the M25 within a few minutes. Chertsey town centre, about 10 minutes walk away, has a Sainsbury's supermarket, a museum and a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Regular trains service from Chertsey railway station take approx 55 minutes to London Waterloo. The station is approx 20 mins walk from the house.
On the ground floor you will discover a modern refitted kitchen with granite worktops, electric hob, double oven, integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher, TV and breakfast bar seating 4 people. The attached utility room has a washing machine and sink. There is a separate dining room and a separate living room with French doors out to the south-facing garden and flat-screen TV. There is also a large WC with wash-basin on the ground floor.
Stairs lead up tot he first floor where there is a family bathroom with bath, washbasin and WC. The master bedroom overlooks the back garden and has a modern ensuite shower with washbasin set into granite and granite tiles. The second bedroom with twin beds also overlooks the back garden. The third bedroom has a double sofa bed.
The sunny well-kept garden has a gas BBQ and garden furniture. The front driveway has parking for 2 cars.

The Chertsey area
Chertsey is within the M25 and offers great access to London as well as many other beautiful areas. There are lots of lovely riverside spots, numerous famous golf courses and wonderful villages. Visitors should schedule in trips to Windsor with it's castle, Runneymede for the Magna Carta monument, Guildford with it's cathedral, Ascot, Wisley Gardens, Hampton Court and Thorpe Park. A day out to the south coast too is only about 90 - 110 mins drive away.

By car from Dover, Gatwick or Heathrow follow the M25 to junction 11 and exit direction Chertsey. Take the slip road from the motorway and turn left at the first roundabout direction Chertsey. Continue straight on through the traffic lights until you reach a T-junction - this is Bridge Road. Turn right and it is the second house on the right.
By train to Chertsey station from London Waterloo or Clapham Junction and taxi from there to the house.
