Set amongst a background of woodlands in the stunning Angiddy Valley, Underwood offers 4 star accommodation for the discerning tourist. Our aim is to create a comfortable, warm and welcoming environment and you are assured of all these at Underwood. Whether you are looking for a relaxing break or an exciting action packed holiday, you are sure to find it here at Underwood.
From the moment you arrive at Underwood you are welcomed into a warm and comfortable hallway, the bookcases boast a large collection of books, autobiographies, local books, novels, etc. Children will not be bored on the days when the weather is inclement as again we have a large selection of dvds, videos, books and games to keep even the most bored child occupied!
Your accommodation will boast spacious rooms with modern facilities to ensure that your holiday or break is one you will remember. Decorated and furnished to the highest standard nothing has been left to chance, every detail has been taken care of. If there is something missing, please let us know and we will endeavor to make sure that whatever it is, will be there for your next visit.

Tintern village offers a wide range of tourist activites, but one you should not miss out on is a visit to the historical Tintern Abbey.
Tintern itself boasts shops, pubs, and close by award winning restaurants (The Crown at Whitebrook)
Chepstow itself is steeped in history, boasting the oldest castle in Wales. Chepstow is the closest and main shopping area for Tintern, although a trip[ in the other direction will get you to Monmouth another local town steeped in history.
Further afield you can visit, Gloucester, Bristol, Newport, Cardiff and Bath, all within an hours drive.
For those of you interested in golf, Monmouthshire boasts a fine array of world class golf courses, The Marriott St Pierre at Chepstow is within a 15 minute drive, and within 30 minutes why not take advantage of a round of golf at The Celtic Manor Resort - home of the 2010 Ryder Cup.

Further details indoors: Access to all the rooms is off the central hallway. The master bedroom boasts double bed, bedside tables and ample storage for clothes, hairdryers, radio clock alarms and torches are available in all bedrooms.
The two twin rooms also have ample clothes storage, hairdryers, alarms and torches.
The lounge has comfy seating for 6 guests and is equipped with tv, dvd player, video player, cd/radio.
The kitchen is fully equipped and furnished to a high standard in keeping with the rest of the bungalow.
Fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, single oven with hob, extractor hood. Every kitchen utensil has been thought of , and you should have no problems in whipping up a gourmet meal (just don't forget to bring the food!!) A dining area also foem part of the kitchen with an extending table that seats 6.
The bathroom, is fully tiled and includes a separate bath and shower cubicle, sink, and close coupled wc.
The property is surrounded by gardens, including lawns, patios and beds. A table and six chairs with parasol are also available for your convenience.
There is ample parking at Underwood for at least 3 cars.
