About the home

A newly refurbished, spacious two bedroom garden apartment forming part of a beautiful Grade II listed Regency villa in Cheltenham. Accommodation comprises one large double bedroom with king sized bed and a flat screen TV and a smaller double room. The very spacious sitting room with a double sofa bed and additional chesterfield sofa has a wall mounted 32" LCD TV with Satellite TV and a DVD player. There is also a selection of DVD's, books, board games and childrens toys at your disposal. There is a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave with all the equipment you could need. The bathroom has a full sized bath as well as a power-shower. All the rooms have been tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard. There is a good-sized private courtyard which is very secluded and perfect for barbecues. Guests have a private entrance to the front of the property as well as access from the rear with plenty of parking.

We are located in the Pittville area of Cheltenham, which is well known for its fine Regency buildings and leafy green spaces. Pittville Park is 5 minutes walk away, where you will find tennis courts, a lake, children’s petting corner, children’s playground and the famous Pittville Pump Rooms (a popular wedding venue). Prestbury Park racecourse is about 10 minutes walk away, home of the famous Gold Cup and also a popular concert venue. Cheltenham high street is about 12 minutes walk with its fabulous shopping, cafes and restaurants.

Cheltenham is centrally located and ideal for visiting Stratford upon Avon - the birthplace of Shakespeare - and the beautiful cities of Bath and Oxford. It is known as the centre of the Cotswolds and is well located for exploring the beautiful Cotswold countryside and picturesque villages.

The Cheltenham / Pittville area

A few minutes walk away is Pittville Pump Room, just one of the many rare gems left over from Cheltenham's hey-day - its Regency period. The Pump Rooms are surrounded by sweeping lawns studded with bright trees, flowers and a lake. The building, dating from around 1825, is Grade I listed. Visitors to The Pump Rooms can still enjoy the Spa water which made the town so famous.

A short walk away lies Cheltenham's famous racecourse, home to the world renowned Cheltenham Gold Cup Festival in March.

“Great apartment, perfect location” A group of 6 of us; 7 including the dog, wanted somewhere to stay in Cheltenham convenient for the racecourse and the town centre. This lovely garden flat beneath the owners house was perfect for what we needed. 20 minutes to the races and 15 the other way into town. Victoria met us on arrival, showed us round and pointed out local shops etc. Enough facilities for us to cook a meal for the 6 of us one evening and full english the next morning. We have already booked for next year.

“Ideally situated” We were visiting the Literature Festival, and found this apartment to be within easy walking distance of the venues and lovely and warm to come back to at the end of the day. It was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished, and we appreciated the welcome groceries. Response: All beds have now been improved and have new, high quality pocket sprung mattresses.

“We love this place” This has now become a regular destination for us to stay when visiting Cheltenham. The hosts are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The flat is lovely and VERY convenient for everything. It really is only a 10 minute walk (maximum) to the race course. There is a lovely park nearby for the children, and we use this as a base to explore further, including visiting some lovely local family pubs, which the owners are happy to recommend. We thought parking would be tricky being so close to the town centre and the racecourse, but we have never had a problem parking the car.
