Our spacious 2 bedroom apartment has a fantastic town-centre location within moments of all amenities.
Located in this Grade 2 listed landmark building we offer our guests an affordable alternative to a hotel room with the added bonus of spacious accommodation and great location, for leisure and buisness, being only a few minutes walk of Montpellier, The Promenade, Cheltenham Ladies College, Kraft Foods, Parabola Arts Centre & Everyman Theatre.
Free secure remote-control gated parking is available for car owners but taxis, buses and train are all minutes away, enabling visitors to easily explore the beautiful Cotswold countryside and villages.
Our sunny apartment is spacious with lots of natural light which streams in through the tall sash windows throughout the day.
The kitchen/diner is well stocked with dishwasher, large fridge freezer, washerDryer and microwave. Welcome provisions of tea, coffee, milk sugar are complimentary!
The lounge is comfortably furnished with leather sofa and armchairs. Virgin broadband wi-fi internet access and cable TV are provided free of charge.

To confirm a reservation we require:
A completed booking form
25% deposit of the full amount - if the start date of your stay is more than 8 weeks.
50% deposit of the full amount - if the start date of your stay is less than 8 weeks.
The total amount of the apartment rental should be paid no later that 4 weeks prior to arrival unless agreed in writing.
We prefer payment by BACS, cheque or Pay Pal.
Should payment not reach us by the required 4 weeks prior to arrival we reserve the right to cancel any reservation and the deposit will be forfeited.
If a cancellation is made prior to arrival refunds will be made at our discretion subject to the apartment being re-let.
No refund will be given for non arrivals.
Clients who do not stay for the full period of their booking will be charged for the full duration.
Arrivals & Departures
We understand that it is difficult to plan an exact time of arrival but would encourage our guests to try
and make arrangements to take over the apartment between the hours of 1400 and 2000.
Arrangements will be made prior to arrival for the handing over of keys.
Security/breakages deposits are fully refundable within 10 days of the return of keys less any damages which occur doing the rental period.
The landlord can not be responsible for loss or damage to the clients personal belongings and suggest a relevant personal insurance policy be in place.
The Central England/Cotswolds region
Fantastic town-centre location offering ideal walking distance to the Cheltenham Promenade, High Street and famous shopping arcades. In short, an ideal place to stay if you want to be within easy reach of Cheltenham Town's main attractions.
Shaftesbury Hall is a well known landmark in Cheltenham and was converted in 1998 to form these spacious apartments which have tall 11ft ceilings and numerous sash windows.
The area boasts a wide range of wine bars, pubs, coffee shops and restaurants all within walking distance of the apartment. The bus station which serves not only the surrounding Cotswold villages but also the major towns and cities such as Birmingham, Oxford, Bristol, South West and London, is within a 5 minute walk. Taxis can be picked up on the Promenade, another short walk and Cheltenham Spa Train station is a short taxi journey.
Cheltenham Racecourse is a 20 minute walk - but only a short trip by bus or taxi.
The apartment has the advantage of being to the front of the property with excellent views and all day sun. Accessed by a communal lift or stairs.
Gateway to the Cotswolds which makes Cheltenham a perfect base for touring and exploring.

"convenient location attractive building appears tidy but not cleaned well"
We stayed to celebrate new year. We arrived in Cheltenham early and were told we could not leave our car in the allocated parking space because the housekeeper was using it whilst cleaning the apartment. We found parking outside on the street and when we finally did enter the apartment it appeared tidy. However upon closer inspection we found that the apartment was not so impressive and certainly if the housekeeper had just left they had not done a good job. There were crumbs inside the rolled up table mats, the inside of the fridge had not been properly cleaned, the kitchen dresser had stains down it, the gothic chandeliers in the bedrooms were draped in cobwebs and the furnishings were cheap. A mock fireplace featured in the living room but was ornamental only. A mock coal effect electric fire would surely not have cost much more? We would not stay here again for the simple reason that the accommodation was not properly cleaned and was so obviously cheaply prepared for lets rather than offering a luxurious place to stay. We have stayed in better!

Guest was kindly offered the opportunity to be met earlier (3 hours)at the apartment by the owner to drop off cases for their convenience,although no parking was available until their orginal arrival time. Guest was more than happy with this offer.
The apartment was checked before the meet & greet by the owners and no cleaning problems were noted. No complaints have previously been recieved regarding cleanliness in any of the apartments in 8 years of service.
The fire in the lounge is in perfect working order, is not "Mock" and was fully functioning at the time of the stay . We have now amended the instructions for use.
The majority of the furniture in the apartment is made by Ercol, a high quality British furniture manufacturer.
The details regarding shower and bath facilities are as stated in the advert.
At no point in our advert do we claim that the apartment is "Luxurious" as many other accommodations do and our competetive rate reflect this. The guests rate for New Years eve was less than a well known low budget hotel. Our unique selling point is the spaciousness and location of the apartment and not advertised as a Luxury Stay.

"Perfect location in Cheltenham with great spaces"
Shaftesbury Hall is a very spacious and well fitted apartment rental with an ideal central in-town location. The grade two listed building is impressive with well maintained grounds. Huge windows allow lots of light. Furnishings are modern and compete. Walk to Mark's and Spencer grocery, many restaurants and High Street.
