This light and airy 2nd floor apartment is just 15 minutes walk from the fashionable district of Montpellier, Cheltenham, where you can dine in style or shop in the stylish boutiques and individual shops. The apartment is set in pretty gardens and is a short stroll from Hatherley Park where you can feed the ducks or just soak up the sunshine. The railway station is close by for easy access to London.and major cities. Cheltenham is home to the internationally famous Gold Cup Festival in March and Literature Festival in October.

The Central England / Cotswolds / Gloucestershire region

An excellent base to explore the Cotswolds. Visit the picturesque villages of The Slaughters, Bourton on the Water, Broadway, Winchcombe and admire the honey coloured stone. Tewkesbury Abbey and Gloucester Cathedral, where part of Harry Potter was filmed, are within 10 miles of Cheltenham.
Walk the Cotswold Way, climb Leckhampton hill and see The Devil's Chimney or clamber up Cleeve Hill and look across to the Malverns and Welsh Black mountains.
Fine Regency architecture in Cheltenham with a museum, art gallery, 2 theatres, cinema complex, bowling, outdoor municipal tennis and in summer a fabulous 1930's swimming pool set in beautiful gardens.

Good transport links to other parts of the country.

Cheltenham’s shopping is renowned, from all the well-known names to exclusive specialist boutiques –
all liberally interspersed with cafés for coffee/lunch/or just people-watching.
If shopping is not your bag then there is culture: a nationally designated Arts & Crafts collection at the Art Gallery & Museum and the fascinating home of the composer, Gustav Holst – or sport: National Hunt racing or football in winter, cricket or a host of other outdoor events in summer.
Not to be missed are St Mary’s church – the only medieval building in Cheltenham – and All Saints’, a treasure house of 19th/20th century craftsmanship including a Burne-Jones window. Something different might be a trip on a steam train, and in high summer, the Lido is the place to be – or just enjoy the parks and gardens…stroll to Hatherley Park and feed the ducks !
