31 Dec 2011
Four generations spent a delightful Christmas week in cosy luxury. The senior members appreciated the ground floor bedrooms and bathroom; the 6 year old great granddaughter fell in love with (feeding the) chickens and peacock on their daily visit. The kitchen was a little small for this event but would be perfectly OK for a normal family holiday when you wouldn't usually cook the emu-sized turkey. Lots of extra storage space plus a freezer in the garage which was very useful.
Lots of hot water; spotlessly clean; tastefully decorated and very warm (again appreciated by the senior members) with a quirky garden. Totally delightful. I am very happy to recommend this property,
Take note that my sat nav only took me to the centre of the village. You need to take the road to the craft centre. C Hanlon. Christmas week, 2011.
