Stratford House is one of Cheltenham's most prominent period townhouses. Dating back to circa 1850, this grand property is located in Suffolk Square in the heart of the Suffolks, only a stone's throw away from Montpellier with its fashionable bars, restaurants and boutique shops and approximately a 10 minute walk to the Promenade and the centre of town.

Suffolk Square is framed by terraces of Georgian townhouses to three sides and by a series of detached townhouses/villas to the fourth in a leafy, highly desirable area of Cheltenham. The Suffolks area of the town has become increasingly fashionable in recent years and boasts a number of bars and restaurants within a few minutes' walk from Stratford House.

Montpellier has long been regarded as Cheltenham's most fashionable area and is only a 5 minute walk from Stratford House. With its wide tree lined roads, open parks, coffee shops, bars, restaurants and high end boutiques it is a reputation that is well earned and is a hugely popular destination with visitors who are looking for a night out, a stroll in the park or to merely sit and watch the world go by over coffee.

Description

You enter the apartment via a private entrance into a good size hallway which leads in the following accommodation:

Living room - The large living room has solid oak floors and is luxuriously furnished with large comfortable seating, Richmond shutters and a 50” flat screen TV with DVD player. The apartment also has free Wi-Fi access throughout.

Kitchen/Dining room - The Kitchen/Dining room is entered via French doors from the living room and is fully equipped for all a chef's needs including a 4 ring Siemens gas hob, Neff oven and microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and a double American style fridge freezer with a large dining table and 6 stylish seats. The kitchen is equipped with crockery, cutlery and glasses for up to 12 people.

Master Suite - The Master suite is located off the main living room and boasts a luxury, opulent feel. The room has views over the private terrace and communal garden. The 7” super king size bed with White Company Egyptian cotton linen is sure to offer even the lightest sleeper a good night's sleep. There is a very generous double wardrobe, chest of drawers and an ensuite bathroom with a toilet, basin and shower.

Bedroom 2 - The two accompanying bedrooms are located to the rear of the property. Bedroom 2 is a large double with a king size bed and Egyptian cotton linen which can also be arranged as 2 twins if required. There are four built in solid oak wardrobes with drawers and a built in shoe rack offering lots of storage space.

Bedroom 3- The third bedroom is a good size twin room also with Egyptian cotton sheets, wardrobe and built in shelving for storage.

Family Bathroom - Bedrooms 2 and 3 are served by the large family bathroom with a bath, toilet, basin, bidet and large walk in shower.

The property is heated via gas central heating and towels are provided. For stays in excess of a week, a mid stay clean is included in the price. Additional housekeeping is available by separate negotiation.

Outside

Stratford House sits within a beautifully kept communal garden with mature trees, manicured lawns and well stocked borders. Number 2 has its own private terrace with table and chairs offering alfresco dining or somewhere to sit for coffee or a glass or two of your favourite tipple!
