The Cotswolds region

The Cotswolds is an area of outstanding natural beauty, comprising hundreds of small towns and villages and hall- marked by the beautiful honey-gold coloured limestone used to build them. The region has a temperate maritime climate rarely experiencing very extreme weather, attracting visitors throughout the year. The Cotswolds has many relics from the Romans who built farmhouse villas here and the main artery of the Cotswolds hills remains the Fosse Way.

Cheltenham

Cheltenham lies at the heart of the Cotswolds. With its elegant Regency terraces, wrought iron verandahs and balconies, overlooking tree lined avenues and gardens Cheltenham is a delightful place to explore on foot.

Locally, the Bath road shopping area offers a wide choice of pubs, bars and restaurants, (Moran's being a particular favourite) coffee shops, cafes, patisseries, and takeaways. There is also an abundance of fresh food shops and a market.

"Perfectly wonderful"

Stayed in this delightful, cozy and perfectly equipped little gem. It is so well designed and although small it packs a great punch!

"Little gem - an ideal location for relaxing break"

Just returned from a short break visiting the Cheltenham Jazz Festival and the icing on the cake was the delightful coach house we stayed in. Modern and yet cosy and full of character this was the perfect place for a relaxing break. A truly unique conversion with much thought and attention given to the decor. Just a short walk into town with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby so no need to take the car. Ian kindly provided welcome pack and certainly made us feel very welcome. We have had our own holiday lets so really appreciate the effort and thought given to this beautiful property. Definitely recommend and we will visit again.

"Charming place to stay!"

This beautiful "home from home" was a wonderful place to stay. The location is fantastic and it is maintained beautifully. There was some truly wonderful touches on our arrival that didn't go unnoticed and were a true sign of good old-fashioned English hospitality. We also noticed how exceptionally clean this property is kept. We cannot recommend this charming house more and we will certainly be back.
