Located in the hamlet of Hanc and 4 kms away from Chef Boutonne, where you will find shops, banks...and the market on Saturday morning. 15 kms from Melle. You are here in the heart of Poitou Charentes and are less than an hour away from the nearest beach, an hour from La Rochelle and Ile de Ré. Would you prefer to spend the day in Poitiersn one hour drive or "Le Futuroscope", or maybe a day in le Soo in La Palmire or the Aquarium in La Rochelle. There are many things to do around and you will find complete and updated information in the Villa. But you may just decide to stay in by the pool or inside when too hot. Bedrooms are very large and comfortable, 2 large ones with a queen size bed, one with 2 double beds and "The Dorm" with 5 single perfect for kids or teenagers on the other side of the house. A large living room/dining room with TV and DVD player, comfortable sofas and a fire place and a large american kitchen with everything you need to cook or spend time away from the rest of your group. The house is large enough to allow large gathering in one room or garden or for each one of you to enjoy private time.

The Poitou-Charentes / Vendee / Deux Sevres region
Located in the heart of Poitou Charentes, Hanc is a small hamlet e few miles away from Chef Boutonne. In chef Boutonne you can see and visit the castle and enjoy Saturday morning market. Within an hour driving you can find the beach, golf courses, a zoo, an aquarium in La rochelle, the Futuroscope. Also interesting are Le Py du Fou. Melle offers lots of places of interest, churches, silver mine, lots of restaurants and a very large market every Friday mornings. Cognac is a must see as well and you can visit different factories.
Chef Boutonne / Hanc area
Hanc is a very small hamlet perfect for walks; 4 kms away from Chef Boutonne, his castle and market on Saturday morning. Chef Boutonne also offers a choice of supermarkets, banks and restaurants. The local market provides you with the local fresh produce allowing you to truly experience the authentic French living.
There are various things to do during the day including the 'Monkey Farm' at romagne, Silver mines at Melle and much much more. The River Vienne offers a pretty town with fantastic international folklore festival in the middle of August.
How to get there
Close to La Rochell, Poitiers and Limoges Airports, not quite an hour away, 2 hours from Nantes and Bordeaux airports and within half a day drive from the ports.
