Spring Grange Cottage is a luxury 2 bedroom spacious annexe set in a rural area of outstanding natural beauty on a 3/4 acre plot. This location enjoys fantastic views west across the valley and unspoilt countryside. Nestled in the Mendip Hills, Winscombe is an excellent base to explore the surrounding area and places of interest such as Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Axbridge, Bath and Weston-Super-Mare.

The property's spacious living area is light and airy with exposed beams and french sliding doors opening on to a generous patio. The living area consists of an open plan kitchen lounge/diner. There is plenty of room in which to relax enjoy the beautiful views, a TV, DVD player and free wifi is also provided. The kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, cooker with induction hob and washing machine. The cottage is contemporary in feel but cosy with under floor heating throughout.

The master bedroom has an ensuite wet room. The second bedroom is a spacious twin room, there is also a family bathroom.

This property is attached to the main house but has its own private entrance, covered porch, parking area and separate garden. This property is the perfect choice for those with mobility in mind.

Our cottage is thoroughly cleaned and inspected by ourselves between each holiday let. In order to maintain a high standard we do not allow guest to smoke or pets.

Prices include bed linen, tea, hand and bath towels, electricity and central heating and wifi.

Somerset is home to the Somerset Levels & Moors, Exmoor National Park and three Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty the Quantock, Blackdown and Mendip Hills.

If thats not enough then there are some great market towns and places to shop, as well as our very infamous Cider Farms!

Cheddar

Situated 4 miles from Cheddar (10 minutes drive), Winscombe is nestled in a beautiful valley in the Mendip Hills. This location is a destination for lovers of the countryside with a wealth of National Trust land within a short walk of the accommodation, from here you can enjoy many walks with views across the peat levels, see limestone platforms and enjoy views that stretch northwards across the Bristol Channel to Wales and south to the Exmoor National Park. The landscape of the area facilitates many sporting activities these include: Walking, mountain biking, road cycling, caving, climbing, abseiling, golf, horse riding, swimming, and sailing to name but a few. The popular Strawberry Line is easily accessible on Winscombe Hill for cyclists and walkers: http://www.thestrawberryline.co.uk

Spring Grange Cottage is located on Parsons Way just off Winscombe Hill, a mile away from the bustling centre of Winscombe village. A place that serves local people very well with all the amenities you could need including a post office, two banks, small library, chemist, florist, grocery store, newsagents, a good size supermarket, gift and clothes shops. There's also a choice of take-away restaurants, cafes and local pubs. There are also many local markets and shops where you can purchase fresh and locally grown produce (information will be provided on arrival).

The beauty of this location is its peacefulness and access to the nature of the area but if you want something more its an easy drive to busier destinations such as Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells (28 mins drive), Glastonbury (33 mins drive), Clarke's Village Street (38 mins drive), Weston-super-Mare (19 mins), Bristol (34 mins), Cribbs Causeway Retail Park (34 mins) and Bath (57 mins).

Bath and Bristol offer a vast choice of culture and entrainment with a range of Museums, Art Galleries, Theatres and Cinemas.

Popular shopping destinations include: Weston-Super-Mare, Bath, Bristol, Cribs Causeway, Street Shopping Village and Wells.
