A charming cottage situated in the village of Draycott, 2 miles from Cheddar.There are 3 bedrooms, bedroom one has a great view over the somerset levels a large bedroom with double & 2 single, bedroom 2 has views of the mendips with a double, single and cot, bedroom 3 has a single bed. All rooms have plenty of storage.Bathroom with separate shower plus ground floor clockroom.This lovely quiet accommodation is equipped and furnished to a high standard.A large sitting room with comfortable seating for 8 plus tv, dvd, freeview and a sage dreamcast with four games, plus a well equipped kitchen.
Plenty of toys games & books for all ages .Patio doors lead on to patio and garden.Off road parking for 2 cars.


Draycott is situated at the base of the Mendip Hills with plenty of scenic hill and moor walks. Easy drive to Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells,Weston-Super-Mare,and plenty more. If you are looking for walking, Sightseeing, or just a relaxing Holiday, then The Cheddar Valley is the place for you, plenty to see and do any time of the year.Strawberry Fields Cottage is situated along a quiet country lane with views of the mendip hills and Somerset levels, ideal place to bring your bikes with plenty of easy bike rides to Cheddar or across the moors to Burnham-on-Sea and lots more.

Draycott and the surrounding county side have many walks most with out standing views If needed a guide can be arranged to show you some walks you may have missed

Baby sitting available by prior arrangement

Guests may arrive after 3pm on their day of arrival and must depart by 10am on the day of departure.Electricity is included in the rental price. Bed linen is also provided, some towels are provided but we recommend you to bring your own bath towels thankyou

Set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Draycott is nestling at the foot of the mendip hills. With two Pubs a local Postoffice and farm shop Draycott is a great place as a base for your holiday. Cheddar Gorge and the famous caves is only 2 miles by car or if you prefer there is plenty of walks that will take you to the gorge the scenic route returning by bus if you wish.Wookey Holes caves and attractions, Wells Cathedral, Bath abbey and the roman spa , Weston-Super-Mare,and the Glastonbury Abbey and Tor.
Ideal location to return year after year. A most to see in November is The Famous West County Carnival.

I would recommend a car for getting to strawberry fields via M5 moterway you would exit at junction 23.bristol airport is 10 miles away easyjet filies in and out daily. local taxis are available
