A charming, 300 year old cottage situated in the pretty village of Draycott, 1 mile from Cheddar. There are two double bedded rooms and a third with adult bunk beds. Bedrooms one and two have views across the Somerset Levels, all rooms have pine wardrobes and chest of drawers. This lovingly renovated accommodation is equipped and furnished to a high standard and features a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove, light and airy dining room and lovely, enclosed garden, ideal for sitting out and relaxing. Conveniently located within walking distance of the village shop and pub, whether you're looking for a sightseeing break or simply planning to relax, this stunning area will not disappoint. From scenic walks across the nearby Mendip Hills to exploring Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells Cathedral and even the coast at Weston-super-Mare, there's plenty to see and do at any time of the year.

The West Country / Somerset region

Set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, nestling beneath the scenic Mendip Hills, the village of Draycott is truly a holiday destination to savour. With its two pubs and local shop, this pretty village provides a great base for exploring lovely Somerset. There's plenty to see and do to suit all tastes and ages, including an energetic walk to the top of nearby Cheddar Gorge to view the amazing caves or a more relaxing trip to see the fabulous attractions at Wookey Hole. A visit to the lovely cathedral city of Wells is recommended, whilst slightly further afield but within easy driving distance is the delightful coast at Weston-super-Mare and the Tor and Abbey at Glastonbury. With so much to see and do you'll want to return year after year!

Price: 3 night price calculated as 75% of the weekly rental, or the Winter Short Break price if higher. Extra nights charged pro rata of weekly rental.

Last Minute Breaks:
Bookable within one week of the start date.
Available: "Low", "Mid", "High" and "Peak" season weeks.
Price: 3 night price calculated as 65% of the weekly rental, or the Winter Short Break price if higher. Extra nights charged pro rata of weekly rental.

How and when to pay:
We ask holidaymakers to pay 50% of the rental on booking and the remainder 6 weeks before their holiday. For holidays booked less than 6 weeks from the required dates the rental must be paid in full on booking. Should you need to cancel your booking a refund will be given if we are able to rent the property for the weeks booked. If only part of the period originally booked can be re-rented a pro rata refund will be given.
