About the home

Brand new barn conversion consisting of 2 double bedrooms (1 en suite) and self catering kitchen. Offering a very spacious home with comfortable lounge. TV's throughout all rooms, Washer/Dryer, plus all the "at home" amenities. Located adjacent to the village pub which is a quiet residential area. Local Post Office and Village store just a few metres up the street. The cottage is ideally located 60 miles from the 2012 Olympic Sailing event.

Everything you need for your "Home away from Home" visit. Fully fitted kitchen including TV. Lounge with TV and DVD player. Both bedrooms with TV and kettle. Brand new barn conversion nestled in the lower Mendips. One bedroom is en-suite fitted with extra large shower. The other bedroom has close access to an oversized Master Bathroom which boasts separate bath and shower facilities. The bedrooms and Master Bathroom are located upstairs. An extra single portable bed is also available. Downstairs provides a comfortable lounge with fold out sleeper for two, large kitchen and a cloakroom.

Glastonbury Abbey

Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Draycott offers the perfect base from which to explore the numurous local attractions. There is a walking path which runs along the old Strawberry Line as well as a ramblers heaven of paths. But for those of you just looking for that quiet peaceful retreat, Draycott can offer that as well.

The Cheddar / Draycott area

Cheddar is home to the famous Cheddar Caves and Gorge. Close by is well known attractions Wookey Hole Caves, the city of Wells and its famous cathedral, Weston-Super-Mare and the pier, Bath with its Roman baths and sight seeing galore, the mysterious Glastonbury with the Abbey grounds and Tor, Burnham 0n Sea, and for the shop-a-holics Clarks Village in Street.
