Baan Lay View Talay is a fully equiped luxury villa provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy the breath-taking ocean views.

This villa boasts 3 en-suite bedrooms and a seperate guest bathroom. All rooms have free hotel style TV, which means you can watch different statelite channels in each room at the same time, Ipod docking stations are also provided in all bedrooms and the lounge, with 3G wiresless internet provided free throughout the villa. The villa provides a fully equipped kitchen or staff who can cook for you, and provides open terraces for relaxation leading onto an infinity pool and jacuzzi (Not heated). Garden below the villa laid to lawn.
Located just below the famous jungle club, it provides breath-taking ocean and jungle views in a peaceful and quiet jungle location, yet still near the bustling Chaweng Centre, which is only a few minutes away. Local beaches and resturants are only 700m away, and the mountain-side golf course is a short 1.5 km drive. The Charming Fishermans Village is only 15 minutes drive, with the large commercial centre's including Tesco Lotus, Big C and Macro all within a 8 minutes drive from the villa.

The on-site villa staff who are shared with the neighbouring villa, will provide house keeping (6 days a week) & garden service. The pool is serviced twice a week.
The Housekeeper can take your laundry if required, wash and iron, for a small additional cost.
Free welcome pack and flowers provided on arrival, with amenity packs provided in all bathrooms.
Our housekeeper is also an excellent cook and will do a large variety of Thai food for you, please organise this direct with her. Please give her at least 24 hours notice, and simply give her the money to purchase the groceries she will need for your menu. A minimum of 100 baht per person is charged for this service. When staying at the villa you will need a car or moped's. Our agent can organise car/moped hire (fully insured). The villa staff can organise massage service to the villa.

The villa boasts UBC satellite service, DVD player, Ipod dock and broadband wifi internet connection and CCTV.
On our lower cool and breezy terrace you will find our pool table.

Feature waterfall from jacuzzi into pool. Terrace (partialy covered) with two cealing fans, with outdoor lounge and table and chairs for dining al-fresco.

Cancellation Policy
Specific Cancellation policy
In the event that the booking is cancelled prior to arrival we regret that no deposit can be refunded.
Once the final balance is received – 4 weeks prior to arrival, the same cancellation conditions as above will apply.
If the period of stay has to be shortened the full rental rates will still apply.
Insurance
The Owner is not responsible to you and your party for any and all claims including any accidents related to the use of the property facilities.
It is highly recommended that all guests are covered by comprehensive travel insurance (including cancellation, flight delays, loss and damage to baggage and other property) and health insurance (including local treatment, evacuation and repatriation coverage).
Any damage to the villa exteriour or interior must be covered by the renter.
A refundable deposit of 10,000 baht is payable to our local agent on check in and will be returned on check out unless any damages have occurred.
Payment Terms
Upon confirming the reservation a deposit of 25% of the total figure is required to secure the booking.
The balance of the booking is required 4 weeks before arrival.
Payment Options are as follows:
1. By international bank transfer to our nominated bank account.
2. Secure on line payment with Paypal. No added fee's.
3. UK cheques and bank transfers will also be accepted. If payment by cheque final payment must have cleared 4 weeks before arrival.

Koh Samui is the 3rd largest in Thailand and since the opening of the Samui's airport in mind-eighties this tropical island has been "discovered" by many holiday-makers from around the world.
The Samui Island is famous for it's 26 palm-fringed beaches, jungle-covered interior mountains, calm blue waters and all year round warm weather.
Although the temperatures are between 24 and 32 degrees C all year round there are two rainy seasons when you can expect more clouds and more frequent showers.
The North-East monsoon comes down on Samui from early November to the end of January. November is the wettest month. A lighter South-West monsoon lasts from May to July.
The best weather lasts between February and May and July and October. Although falling during the monsoon season the end of December is the busiest time on the island with most nice places booked out so if you plan to escape European winter to holiday on the island at that time of the year please consider booking many months ahead.
The Chaweng Beach / Chaweng Noi area
CHAWENG
Chaweng beach is what made Samui famous, It is a lovely 4km long white sand beach with many coconut trees alongside of it. Since the beach faces East it is a great place to relax on afternoons when the coconut trees provide some shade from the hot sun.
Chaweng is one of the best, biggest and busiest beaches on Samui and although is all build-up with resorts and hotels it is still reasonably green and relaxing especially at it's central and Southern end. The buildings on Samui cannot be taller than a cocount tree which is what saved the island from the fate of Patong beach on Phuket that became a town-beach.
There are many excellent restaurants offering Thai and international cuisine along Chaweng beach road together with tourist shops and bars providing night entertainment. The main night-life area of Samui in in North Chaweng and features night clubs that became a household name over the years like Green Mango, Regge Pub, Solo Bar, Sweet Soul, Sound and Q-Bar. Since it is Saturday every day on Samui those beautiful people who like to go out at night will be assured of the never-ending party.
There are now also shopping malls in Chaweng: Tesco-Lotus, Big C and Makro. These line up the main Ring Road running around the island and are few km away from the Chaweng Beach Road following the curve of the beach. Samui airport is located just North outside Chaweng towards the Big Buddha beach. Since it is only few km from Chaweng it is very convenient to fly in/out of the village.
CHAWENG NOI
The beach in Chaweng Noi, 700m from the villa, the long white sand beach is calm compared to the main Chaweng beach, with restaurants offering sun chairs for free use, as long you buy a few drinks from them. One example is Samui Bistro restaurant, who offers excellent Thai food, and very friendly staff.
Royal Koh Samui Golf and Country Club with it's stunning sea view from the top of the mountain, is only 1.5 km up the road from the villa, copy link below for their website.

Koh Samui is about 1 hour flight time from Bangkok or 30 minute flight from Phuket. Bangkok Airways have upto15 flights per day from Bangkok, 3 from Phuket, 2 from Pattaya, and also fly to Samui from Hong Kong and Singapore. There are also two flights per day from Bangkok on Thai Airways. Firefly reaches here from Subang airport in KL, Malaysia.
Otherwise your can reach Samui by land/sea by busses and ferries from Suratththai in South Thailand (Don Sak pier). Suratthani also has an airport with a daily AirAisa and Thai Airways flights from/to Bangkok but the 160km trip from Suratthani airport to Samui takes about 4 hours by bus and ferry via Don Sak.
Or you can hire you car in Suratthani airport and drive to the ferry and take the car across to Samui.
When staying at the villa you will need a car or moped's. Airport pick-up, car and moped hire can be arranged through our local agent.

Just arrived back from our 9'night stay. Everything it says on the website is true! And the pictures don't lie...the location, view, facilities and daily help from the on-site housekeepers are all first class. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a self catering option in Koh Samui. And take the owners recommendations re beach side eating and relaxing at Bistro Samui - lovely people and great service. |
