About the home

Set on the hillside above Chaweng Phu Chaweng Villa is a stunning private villa enjoying sea and mountain views including palm trees and lush natural forestry.

The villa is built to the best possible standards combining the finest of European and Thai skills. It blends Thai and Balinese architecture with modern European requirements.

The bustling Chaweng Centre is but 10 minutes away as is the best beach in Samui. The Charming Fishermans Village is a mere 12 minutes away. Tesco Lotus, Big C and Macro are all within 5 minutes of the villa.

Everything you need for a stunning holiday on this tropical island in the Gulf of Thailand

Why not extend your holiday and your experience. A trip to the mainland with car and driver/guide. Visit the Andaman coast passing through awesome scenery and National parks on the way. Stay in a resort on a deserted beach. Explore the klongs (inlets) of the largest connected mangrove forrest in the world in a traditional longtail boat. Optional help with preparation of genuine Thai cuisine utilising freash seafood direct from the local fishermen. Collect some stunning recipies. (This facility also available at the villas on Samui.) Drive down the coast to Khao Lak and then accross the mountains to Phangna. A longtail boat trip to some truly stunning island in the Bay, The scene for many movies. Visit James Bond Island. Then back accross the peninsular and the ferry back to Samui. Or return direct to Bangkok or Singapore by plane train or coach. This trip can be as leasurly as you wish. Your time is the only limit.

All I can say is that this villa is fully appointed. Housekeeper / Chef will do all laundry, cook, whatever. There is a compulsory 1000 baht per day supplement to advertised rates for the live in staff (Cook 1 meal per day. Additional meals available on request Cost of food additional) All linen for use within the villa and around the pool are provided. We do not provide towels for beach use.
The villa has a large 4wd vehicle available and can take you shopping, take to to the beach and collect you. Take you for a tour around the island or anything else you may require. This service is, of course, at additional cost and is dependant on your requirements. Excellent English skills from staff. Nanny service also available.
4 / 5 bedrooms all with attached bathrooms and dressing rooms. An additional bathroom and shower on the pool deck for guests.


AC is provided but this design allows for such a cool breeze to flow throughout that most visitors prefer just to use the fans.

TV and DVD are provided in the living room with Leather sofas. Fully fitted kitchen.
Wireless Internet access.

There is a Sala attached to the living area with dining table and chairs to enjoy a Thai gastronomic adventure or a cool sundowner.

Rattan sun loungers imported from Bali are on the sun decks on the top level and by the pool. Fully landscaped gardens are integrated into the building together with some more interesting water features.

A deposit of 33% is payable on confirmed booking. Final payment on arrival. The supplement of 1000 Baht per day for staff is in addition to advertised rates. It refers to all household duties and the preparation, cooking and serving of one meal perd day. Additional meals are available. All food costs to be born by customer.

The Koh Samui region

Koh Samui is located in The gulf of Thailand. It enjoys an enviable climate with temperatures ranging from 26 to 32 degrees. Being an island there is generally a cooling breeze. The rainy season is short and generally in November.

The Chaweng Beach area

Chaweng beach is the most popular and also the best. Many restaurants on the beach from Eat Sense to the infamous Ark Bar. Boats for hire and Jet Skis. Trial dives and so much more.

Plenty of shops on the main road just up from the beach and many more bars and eating places.

The true night life of Chaweng only starts around 11.00pm so plenty of time for those that do not want to party into the night to escape back to the villa.

Sorry for the late news, otherwise we 've done a great trip from Koh Samui to BKK, the vip bus was more than comfortable.
Many many thanks for all you've done for us, we had had a great time, either in Samui and BKK, we've enjoy our holiday we've all left with nostalgy. My mam dont stop talking about her holidays there, great thoughts for JOY, who have been very precious for all of us, big kisses to her, but all good things have an end, we will come back for sure. People there are lovely and you the same.

4. Overall I was very impressed. Some feedback I have received from my family is:
Bedsheets - (top sheet) they said the blankets were too warm and sheets would be nice. Wash clothes in the bathroom would be a good addition as well. I thought my bathroom had them but I could be wrong.
We all loved the place and I couldn't imagine getting a better place for the money or host(David).

This Villa is one of the best lay outs I have sen to date! All four bedrooms are separate from each other with the pool and living/kitchen in the center. The Kitchen came well stocked with everything you need to cook, it had more appliances than my own kitchen. The Maid service was very through, and gone before we even woke up, they would return if we needed our rooms serviced. Overall, the villa was MORE than expected, and we wouldn't consider any other option in the future! David was an amazing host, and bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed. When one of our scooters broke down he was there in less than 5 minutes to take us to get it repaired. David picked us up from the airport and dropped us off, and whenever we needed a ride, he was there to help. David also had some good insight on reputable business that offer services on the island. He made us feel like family, and we have yet to meet a better host. Thank You David! October 2011
